This is not a portable fuel container as described by ASTM, EPA, ARB, and other official agencies. For racing fuel only, such as Nitromethane or Methanol, used in sanctioned Motorsports. NOT for fuel used on highways. Also for storage and transport of feed, water, attractants, fluids and other outdoor products.

Does not come with the hose tube.
These are great cans, but... everywhere I've looked at these they come with the hose inside of them. It didn't occur to me that they wouldn't come with them, what good are they with out a hose to pour from. They should say in the listing hose not included. Just so you have a heads up and aren't in the situation I am in of them arriving the day before your trip and no hoses... So disappointed...

Horrible cans!! They leak after a few uses.
Junk!!!!!! Junk!!!! Junk!!!!! Do not buy these. They might be knock offs. Either way they leak horribly from bottom seam. Total joke of cans.Update: we’ll after owning these cans for not even one year and only using them three times all the reviews are true. The can is leaking on the bottom near the seam it looks like. These cans have been babied. Stored inside. Used very little. And not treated rough in the back of a truck or trailer. Very disappointed. In less than one year and using three times it’s broke. The retailer better make this right. Not happy right now.Final update. After contacting vp they finally sent me new cans and after negotiating with them took pics that they were cut and destroyed and not reusable I did not have to pay 70 dollars to send back the faulty cans. The ones they replaced them with have worked as they should. I think vp had a bad bunch of cans based on the date code they wanted on them.

Best racing jugs you can buy.
"But are they real", you may ask? They jugs are thick, proportioned and fit your orifice of choice. Nipple selection along with hose is critical, I prefer short and light.

First time filled leaked
I received these 2 fuel cans a couple of weeks ago. I filled yesterday for a trip, When I went to the garage this morning and one can was empty. Looks like the bottom seam was is defective and split. I now don't trust the other can in my camper for fear it will fail also. I have emailed the seller for a replacement or refund. I'll update when i learn more.

Leaky, cheap cans
The vent caps leak fuel when the can in turned to pour into the tank. A really poor design. The vent cap threading on the SIX cans I purchased have all stripped and no longer tighten or seal. The manufacturer did not reply to my written request for assistance. It appears that others are having the same experience.Save yourself the disappointment. Buy a different product.

Good Quality. Have been using for 10 years.
Just bought my 11th and 12th of these. I use them for quads at the sand dunes and the cinder pits in Flagstaff. I also like to have extra fuel on hand in case of unforeseen need to mobilize and lines at the pump.I use the jugs with the oldest fuel in my mower and vehicles every other month and refill to rotate stock. Good jugs, work fine. I just have a couple of the lids with the poor spouts and just switch lids to the jug I want to pour from. have a few jugs that are well over 10 years old. Never had a problem.

Don’t Understand a lot of these reviews
Don’t Understand a lot of these reviews. These jugs work quite well and are nice and heavy duty. I have had several other brands of jugs including the Sunoco jugs and the LC2 jugs. The Sunoco jugs did not survive my son and I’s trip to the Northwest territories in Canada. These jugs did. Many people are complaining about leaking. I have had no problems with leaking in the four jugs that I have. Please note. The plugs in the caps are not NPT they are BSP. If you leave the plugs in the caps and don’t replace them with hoses, You will need to use some Teflon tape on the plugs. This cures any problems you may encounter and most of the leaks come from this area. The plastic is very thick and I have had no problems with splitting. Our trip encompasses over 200 miles of dirt road into the north west territories. These jugs survived that trip on an open trailer.

Almost but not quite (spills fuel through vent)
I bought two of these for the tractor, but they are impossible to use without spilling a tiny bit of fuel out of the vent, because it needs to be lower on the handle. They are still better than anything you can buy at Lowe’s or Wally World (Thanks Obama/EPA), but I will stick to the clear canisters which have a properly located vent from now on.
