Presently the best GP use light on Amazon
I find this style easier to use, less glaring, and more durable than using something like a camping lantern or flashlight. This is very similar to a smaller unit I still have from a couple of years ago (no longer available), but this one's battery is very small. The entire product is very light, despite using metal and ABS. It probably doesn't have to be quite as long as it is to provide its amount of brightness. So it has a limited amount of time available during emergencies, but more than what is needed for daily light use. I find these lithium ion units much more reliable than those with alkaline batteries.

Pleasantly Suprised
Nice Light, as advertised. Has three brightness settings on the white light, which is nice. The low setting is a perfect night light. The high setting can get you through the darkest woods. The last setting is an alternating Red-to-blue -- which would be a perfect setting to signal for help, or to get attention. The light also has two small built in magnets. Perfect for a car/engine work light. I'd buy this light again.

Battery did not last 15 hours as said on the desciption.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Product came with the led light, nice cylinder case usb charger and a strap. Light has 4Modes, bright, brighter, brightest and emergency that blink blue-red. Little frustrating to know that light dimmed dramatically after 4 1-2 hours of the brightest mode, product description says it will last 15 hours, but it did not. But after plugging the usb to the led light, light is back immediately, it can be used while charging it, awesome. Power is on the side w/ usb for charging. Charging time is around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour.Back has a alloy i guess. Placing it on a metal surfaces works well. Since back side is flat, best to place it in a flat metal surface. Still very nice product, light weight, its portable, very handy. Price is about right. Still a good buy.

Cool product, much better than a flashlight
This is a really nice product and kudos to the seller for answering my question so promptly about how to turn it on and off (the indicator light is also the switch for on/off and different levels of brightness). I ordered two more yesterday, so now we'll have four!

Great Long Lasting LED Light!
Works great with long lasting battery life. Used this and forgot to turn it off. When I came back the next day it was still lit!

Nice light with a long battery, but the emergency mode is questionable
Works pretty well and has a long battery life. However the emergency setting is too much like a police light bar.
