This is a direct use LED bulb that can be install on any light fixtures with E26 or E27 sockets. Please make sure the sensor part on the bulb has to be facing towards the direction where possible motion might occur. The sensor can be facing downwards as well. This is a new LED light bulbs , Usually We called it " motion sensor LED bulbs", it's different with the motion-sensing light, It will automatically turn on if the infrared detector detects changes such as someone walks into its area of detection when the ambient light is low or dark. and will last for about 30-60 seconds after the infrared detection ceases or the sound stops.
