Having always been a user of luxury Christy towels, (other luxury brands available) when I recently needed some new towels I saw these and thought the description sounded the same as a Christy - weight 650gsm, size etc and the price for two was less than one Christy. Wow I thought and looking to save myself some money I ordered. Maybe I should have thought this was too good to be true but I tend to trust sellers on Amazon. When the parcel arrived, before unwrapping, I did not know what was inside as it was so light, I did not think it was two jumbo heavyweight towels! Once opened I saw that it was the towels. As soon as I took the towels out of the packing I knew I had been had. Thin, light, yuck! Compared to one of my Christy towels both of these, brand new, do not weigh nearly as much as one Christy! Then the size....the towels sent to me measured 150x60cm, considerably less than the 180x200cm as described. I tried one of the towels once and it was not a luxury experience! I emailed the seller and in their reply they apologised that I had been sent the "wrong" towels...hmmmm....the label on the towels which, I might add is a very nice looking tag, would reflect the name of the towels in their description. They offered me a partial £5.00 refund or said I could return the towels. I told them this was difficult for me, which is why I shop online, so took the refund. I did say that if they had the correct towel to send me one but they ignored this. I will use the towels for my hair or my dogs! In hindsight I wish I had read the questions etc before ordering but I have got a bit lax in doing this lately as I rarely have problems with goods ordered on Amazon and I order alot! Going forward I will pay more attention, especially to the reviews from VERIFIED purchases. So, buyer beware, it really is true in this case that you get what you pay for. Christy may well be more expensive for one towel but they are exactly as described, beautiful towels, and last for years. These towels are no good for one use if you are looking for a quality towel.

I last purchased these in 2015 and I still have and use them every time I shower which is at least twice a day. They’re big towels.They’re honestly to me have been quite amazing towels.After I use them twice they get washed and dried either out on the line during the summertime or dry days, or in the dryer throughout the colder/wetter months. The have still come up looking and feeling soft and fluffy, ready to be used all over again.I never bought such soft and truly great value towels anywhere else, before I got hold of these. To me they’ve been fantastic.God knows how many times I’ve washed them. I’ve noticed that they’re now started looking a bit old and thin. But I think I’ve had my wear out of them.I’m now going to buy them all over again.I’d definitely recommend these if you’re keen on a big towel that lasts a long time and drys off your skin well after bathing.

To write 'poor quality' would simply not discribe these towels in all their translucent glory. When the parcel arrived, I hoped it wasn't the towels, as it simply wasn't as big as I'd expected. I was disappointed as soon as I opened it. I didn't even need to hold the towel up to the light to be able to see through it.I have tee-towels that are thicker and more absorbent than these...Rubbish.

I would have loved to be able to give these towels the 5-star review they deserve, but I can't- due to misleading measurements on the product description.These are lovely towels- very thick, soft and fluffy, and they wash beautifully.That said, DO NOT buy these if you are looking for a 'Jumbo' bath sheet, as I was.They are only standard bath sheet sized.

They big anought..it's ok but not soft ..and my bad luck that I didn't read well .ca I thought is 2 small 2 middle 2 big but came only 2 big.. for the quality only 2 towels to expensive

Amazing towels! They are so very large and myself being a slightly larger lady find them great to wraparound myself and cover all necessary parts. The towelsare so fluffy and soft, I don't want to get out of them after the shower. I have bought 6 of these now because they are so good.

So disapointing!! I have been ordering these for a long time and on a regular basis to handcraft baby towels I design myself and I had selected these originally for their amazing softeness and thickness. But I find with my last order that the quality has changed unfortunately and it is not as soft and lovely anymore. Will have to source from somewhere else...

Lots of loose threads at the edges, wash up well, not sure they are 650 thread count, but how do you check?, size is as stated. Would I buy again? probably not BUT they are value for money.
