Got this for my 7yo kid for the run up to Xmas, but he wasn't interested as the other calendars had chocolates.But now, he loves it. He picks the country he wants to do , Which works for him as he doesn't like rules. And why not as long as he enjoys it.The craft calendar is a great idea and a super execution.Just a minor thing, It would be nice to have some narration to the videos to make it more personal.

In this calendar, the child receives creative tasks, an introduction to different countries, the flags of these countries, a little historical information, clear video instructions and a map!

The media could not be loaded. I love this arts and craft set for helping kids discover the world. It’s really engaging for kids with the passport that you can add stickers too and the map to put the pin stickers on. It’s a great bonding experience to work through these with your children. You get 24 envelopes, each with a QR code for the instructional video and the items inside. This is a good quality kit and would make a great gift. This could be used just as a craft set not as an advent calendar.

This is an AMAZING advent calendar for kids. I would say age 9+. My daughter is 11 and loves it. Really well organised, she's learning loads. Better than ones we've gotten before that just have cheap plastic in them. She's really enjoying making the crafts and learning about themThere are spot prizes on certain days which you can enter to win.If the countries change next year we will buy again. Otherwise we will wait until my son is old enough and buy it for him.Definitely recommend!

Bought for a rainy day activity and to help study geography with my primary aged son. Right up our alley. Helps him with focus and making things on his own with the occasional support from mum.

This is brilliant! The quality is great and the thought that has gone into it is excellent. Brilliant crafty activities and love the country info and passport too!

Instructions are only available by scanning a QR code from each package. A huge disappointment since the idea of an Arts and Crafts advent calendar is to provide entertainment without phone.

The media could not be loaded. This product requires the ability to read a QR code and be able to connect to the internet for the video instructions for each craft. There are no paper instructions in the product. I don’t have an issue with this method as such, although I feel it is misguided. I do have an issue with the fact that this is not mentioned anywhere on the box or indicated clearly on the Amazon store page. In fact the box states "Includes a colourful and detailed step by step picture guide". There is no mention that this guide is internet based or only accessible via a QR code. I can see people buying this and then not being able to do anything with it.The idea is a simple but clever one. You get 24 different craft projects based, apparently, on different countries'. Some are more complex than others. Each day you open the envelope with the next number on and scan the QR code for the video instruction for what to do with the materials inside (I have added a video of doing this). The craft items are basic, consisting of card, paper, felt pens, paints, string and wool. Although the craft items are supplied you have to supply your own glue and tape if the craft requires them.In addition to the craft containing envelopes there is a world map, a passport and flag and passport stickers for when you complete each day's craft.If you have a child who likes to paint and make things this is a nice countdown/advent calendar and gives more play value than a small chocolate ever could. Is it worth £30? Well someone had to sit down and work these craft ideas out and although the materials are basic there are a lot of them. I am however undecided on the value.Just remember that no instructions are in the box, they are all online.
