Does what it says on the tin.
All you need is a parallel header on your motherboard and a half-height computer case and you're away. Nice to know stuff like this is still available. I required it for some old skool CNC software that used a parallel hardware "key" to allow the program to run.

Warning for HP computers
Does not work for a HP Compaq dc7900 and possibly other similar HP computers. These require a compatible adapter such as this HP Parallel Port Adapter. (HP part 462537) which includes a link in the header plug which indicates to the BIOS that the port is present.To be fair the description does say it requires "a compatible motherboard."
