Good collection of diverse and ethnic recipes with different levels of preparation, which inspired me to purchase the book. The short ribs recipe is what initially captured my attention, but I have really enjoyed all the soup and chili recipes. A huge bonus is that both my 14 and 11 year old daughters have enjoyed the meals so much that they now select the recipes, assist with collecting the ingredients at the grocer, and join in on preparing meals.

My husband and I love to cook
My husband and I love to cook, and I got this book for him for Christmas. We evaluated the info on cookers in the book before we purchased a pressure cooker, and since we purchased it, we have made a number of the meat and vegetable recipes in the book. The recipes are easy to follow with helpful info for the type of cooker, i.e. stove top v. electric. We have tested many of the recipes on neighbors, and the pulled flank steak and pork carnitas are our favorites so far. I mixed the left over pork carnitas with the black beans and rice the next day for a wonderful pork chili with rice. This is a great book that demystifies using a pressure cooker.

Delicious Homemade Chili in less than an hour!
Delicious! I got a pressure cooker for Christmas, and have used it every week since -- thanks to this recipe book. I made the 3-bean chili last night; it was easy, done within an hour (yeah--chili in less than an hour), and absolutely delicious (even with equal parts turkey and chicken instead of beef). It was well worth the hassle of searching for truffle oil at the grocery store. Next week I'll make the mushroom soup.

Pressure cooking gets modern and goes global
I didn't expect to be a fan of pressure cookers until I saw the author on TV. Growing up, my mother and grandmother used them, but I had not appreciated how useful and flexible they can be. Bren's approach is refreshing - interesting recipes made with fresh, healthy ingredients producing great results amazingly quickly. The book is well thought out and beautiful illustrated, with a nice mix of simple to complex dishes.What was most surprising is the international range of foods, including African, Asian, Turkish, English, Spanish, and many others. Her section on Cuban dishes could have been a book in itself.

Used is fine but dirty is not
This took such a long time to arrive.It had food debris on the cover.It also had marker flags scattered throughout the bookThis has put me off the book and also further purchases from this siteWhat does it take to do a little housework ?☹️
