Moto Z Play Flip Case, Smart Wake Up Protective Folio Cover with Card Slot Moto Mod Case for Motorola Moto Z Play, Black

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well this has protected my phone, as I have dropped it numerous times. The book-cover design nicely protects the screen and the back of the phone from breakage, but doesn't really protect the edges of the device from get nicks and dings. The case may get knocked off after the phone hits the ground, but it has done its job at that point. It is held in place by like a Moto Mod, using the magnetic area on the back of the phone to hold it adequately in place, which makes it easy to swap out for one of the useful Mods I own. It saves battery in that it puts the phone in a semi-sleep mode when the cover is closed and the phone wakes up when the cover is opened, kind of like a laptop or how the covers on Apple iPads work. The thin profile adds very little to the phone's thickness, so the phone still fits comfortably in a shirt or jacket pocket or in a hip pocket without making it seem like you have a brick in your pocket.

It doesn't quite fit the Z correctly just like others have said. However it easily switches between my car dock, case & the extended battery. It also seems to be a bit sturdier then I expected for the $10 price. Loses a star due to not fitting correctly. Overwise, it's unexpectedly great.

I was very pleased with the way the phone attached to the case. I was worried about the magnets being not strong enough, but the phone fit in very snuggly and is very secure. It is a very nice minimalist case and I'm very pleased with it.

I love how slim this is. Fits perfect and i even can still use my Incipio bumper, which i recommend that you do since there is nothing protecting the edges with this wallet case mod.The card slot gets stretched out easily.Also what is this embedded inside of the case understand the card slots? Antenna? Microchip?

I was getting very tired of carrying around my Motorola phone in it's Otterbox case.... That case increases the thickness of the phone by at least 3x, and it's like carrying around a brick in your pocket. In addition, you can never use MotoMods with the Otterbox case, and I spent a bit of money on the JBL speaker and the projector, but never used them because removing the phone from the Otterbox case was tedious.I just happened to come across the"MotoMod Flip Case on Motorola's website, but of course they had long been sold out and aren't being made anymore. I looked around and happened to come across this case on Amazon which looked identical to the official MotoMod Flip Case. (It even has the Motorola insignia on it?) It was cheap, and I figured I would give it a try.Well I am happy to say that it works great. The magnet is strong and I have yet to have a situation where the phone has fallen out of the case by accident. I can easily detach the case to use with my other MotoMods and I wish I had bought this case a long time ago. Very happy and very pleased.

The item is useless as a protection for a phone. the magnet that holds it onto the phone is so weak and all you have to do is grab the phone by one corner and it pops loose.

Good protection on the back and front of the device. Gives it a slim fit feel. However, the sides of the device are exposed and unprotected in the event of droppage. Just don't drop your phone....

I like the idea of a wallet case that uses the Moto Mod system. This one is good. The magnets on the back hold really well and it looks great closed.Two stars off.The case is not really made for the Moto Z. It fits my wife's Moto Z Play perfectly. Too much of a gap when closed on a regular Moto Z.There should be a screen off when closed function to compliment the wake when open.

A brilliant product, suitable for all Moto Z series phones. I've been using this cover on both my Z2 play and Z2 Force, and I'm very much satisfied with it. It offers great looks and an easily removable flip cover option.

これ、もうなかなか売っていないので、複数買ってしまいました。問題なく使えています。私の愛用機の寿命がくるまでケースはこれでなんとかなりそうです。
