This works awesome for cutting sausage, I love it, very sturdy.

My husband ordered this slicer to slice his pepperoni. He likes the way it slices. He likes the idea that he can make the slices as thin or thick as he wants them. The only thing he does not like is the slight mover in the slicer. The slicer is the best one he has found.

The main reason I bought this was because most reviews said it worked good with pepperoni. I tried cutting Bridgeford pepperoni sticks on it. It is very hard to get a slice that is not thick. It also does not cut all the way through the pepperoni "skin". It starts the cut fine, but when I reach the other "end" of the slice, it mostly rips it instead of cutting it. I was hoping for this to work better because I hate using a regular knife or an electric knife. I have not tried any other meats or vegies on it yet. Maybe over time I will be able to maker thinner slices of pepperoni.

Well built slicer good for outside and to lazy to get the electric slicer. Hard to clean but gets it done

I bought this to slice brick cheese, and it is excellent, I can slice very thin slices and it is very sharp. Be very sure to be careful slicing and it has a very nice pin for locking the blade so it doesn't fall out accidently

This slicer is not what I was hoping for at all. Aesthetically, it looks nice, but that's about it. It does not perform well the main function, i.e. slice.I bought it, because I wanted consistency of my salami slices, but the results are much worse than what I slice by hand.Forget about "paper-thin slices" touted in the description. It's pretty impossible to make thin slices with this contraption. Nothing like proper deli-grade slices. They are right about the importance of thin slices for a salami, but, unfortunately, their product simply does not deliver. The slices are uneven (could be think on one end, and thick on the other) and with rips at the end.I am returning it. I wonder if that kind of design ever works well. I'd probably be better off with an electric slicer, but I don't want to buy a big heavy device for occasional salami. I guess, I should just hone my manual cutting skills.

I really liked the look of this meat slicer and that was the biggest reason I bought it. In reality, it's a little awkward. The meat has to be really firm and the arm with the knife is a little loose. It is very easy to clean, however.

Great slicer, only wish it was wider on left side so salami would lay straight so I just put a cutting board beside so it is easier to have a safer grip for slicing. Would have given it 5 stars if it was wider, so happy I found this on Amazon.
