Enzymes usually appear in two forms - either have a lot of type of enzymes in one pill, or have only a few types of enzymes in one pill. The former has the advantage of being able to break down a lot of types of things but the disadvantage of usually not having as large a dosage per type as the latter.Since this is the former, it appears, from what I've experienced to be either average or slightly weaker per pill than other enzymes I take. This is good for small, complex meals if only one pill is taken. I guess you could take more than one pill at a time though.If you eat simple larger meals, then perhaps enzymes which contain fewer types of enzymes might be better, depending on what you eat. This does contain things like lactase and phytase, which is good for dairy, and a lesser extent phytic acid rich foods.
