First Time Match Modler!
Bought this just before Christmas and am about one third finished. Takes a lot of patience and concentration, but is worth the time and rewarding. The price was very good £15.00 and free delivery. Looking forward to finishing this and deciding which to build next. Would recommend to anyone with patience.2 May 2017.Just finished this model, four and a half months of enjoyment building it. All it needs is a coat of varnish. The only negative feedback is the fact there was a shortage of matches in the kit. I ended up using over 1000 of my own matches and lots of glue.

A quite challenging but excellent model
The instructions for the model could have been more helpful even in suggesting the order in which parts were to be constructed and put together. I soon realised that I needed to adjust and do my own thing. The stairs were particularly difficult and after two unsuccessful efforts, I made my own template. The satisfaction of completion compensated for the the difficulties faced. I am very pleased with the finished model and proud of the achievement

Needs patience
I’m sure, with endeavour, that it’s a fine kit. I did not have the patience for it. Did not complete it.

Great fun
If you read any reviews of these matchstick models you get warned that they are not the most informative, but still need to be read carefully. You need to think about how you're going to assemble each component and the bus as a whole. A proportion of the matches are bent to a greater or lesser degree, which doesn't matter for the chassis or the wheels. You could practice on the benches to get used to the process; I started on the bonnet. Leave the stairs until you're confident, I had to refold them to allow them to fit the space.

It is very trying
What I didn't like was the cardboard formers were to long for the box so so many of them were bent over to fit In properly
