I’ve tried countless products over the years to bring life back to the faded plastic trim on my car, but nothing truly delivered—until now. This colour restorer is simply incredible! The result after using the polytrol is unbelievable. I used it on our composite door that was badly faded by the sun. It looks like new, a beautiful red door. Easy and quick to use. Recommend to family members who have the same result on their composite doors. Will refresh the door next Spring.

Great product - used it for reviving composite decking made a massive difference- easy to apply but did look a little patchy in paces where iv not quite caught all the wood grain effect - not sure if second coat would completely resolve havnt tried as it’s outdoors & a big area so it’s fine . Would recommend images show part done comparisons & it stays this colour when dried in.

Excellent stuff (Owatrol Polytrol Colour Restorer). This was bought to treat a faded red composite front door that is about three years old). The bottom half was faded/looking like it had a powdery chalk residue on it). My only regret is thinking I'd be economical and buy the larger 1 litre size. I doubt I used as much as 50ml so have a LOT left over. One other quibble is the 'tin' the stuff comes in is a bit of a kerfuffle - the stuff splashed everywhere when I pulled the internal ring seal under the red cap! Also it needs to be poured into something else before you can dip a brush or cloth into it). But still five stars as easy enough to use (be prepared to sacrifice the polishing cloth and clean the brush in white spirit if necessary). The photo of door was taken a few hours after treating in hot sunny conditions. The tin that it came in looks different to that on the one Amazon site which looks more conventional but I'm hoping this stuff will keep as it will take a while to use unless I find a lot of other things to paint :).

WOW! Just, wow!GRP front door was faded. Previously tried washing, T-cut for cars, polish with drill & fancy buffers - nothing. Last chance, tried this product. Quick & easy to apply. Swift wipe off after 10 minutes & my very patchy, faded door looks like new! Worth every penny. Off to find more to re-vamp!

Product did a great job in revitalising our black UPVC front door. Followed the instructions in doing a thorough clean, leaving to dry for the required time and then applying the product as instructed. Three weeks on and after some rain and high temperatures, we can see a few patchy areas starting to reappear again. Our door is not sheltered by a porch etc, so very open to the elements and therefore maybe an annual job. Not a problem as the tin will cope with numerous applications and therefore good value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Tin arrived 90 minutes ago and I’m already done.My 5.5 year old garage door was looking tired. It’s directly south facing with no shade so gets a battering from the sun - hence the faded colour.I have some suitable paint but thought this may be better.Easy to apply. No need to buff off. Be careful not to create runs. Paint brush is fine to use, can also use a cloth (make work better in some circumstances).A little disappointed it didn’t cover the hand marks on the door, have tried cleaning them off many times with no joy so thought this may help - not Owatrols fault though.Tried it on a black downpipe and wow, mega improvement - May do them all now, including gutters!Total time less than 1hr.Took 36mins to treat my garage door.Would use again!
