Since I use a travel mug for coffee on a daily basis, I finally went hunting for a stainless interior travel mug since my old one was all plastic, and hot liquids in unknown plastic made me start wondering about that that might be doing.This mug arrived and is very presentable with a decent geometric design that I think anyone could be comfortable with on their desk. I completely missed that is was marked as not dishwasher safe (something I really wanted), and looking at it, I'm hoping that was just due to the design on the sides because into the dishwasher it went (it appears to have survived admirably).Empty, just playing with it on a table, it seems very top-heavy with the base being too small, and the silicone/rubber bottom is so non-slip, I was afraid it might be a tilting/spilling risk (lost a laptop keyboard to THAT issue before). Fortunately, once filled with some liquid, the center of gravity made it much more stable.The other gotcha is the lid, advertised as leakproof, including picture of holding it upside-down. The instructions in the package warn against actually sealing the lid with hot liquid inside. I see the point...building up steam pressure isn't the best option when you think about it, and the lid DOES seal very well, but it's good to be aware of.Besides that, the lid screws on very firmly, the flip-top seals up firmly...and I have no idea what the little carry handle would be for me but it tucks neatly out of the way. Coffee seems to cool off as quickly as any other travel mug I've used. But the overall build quality is solid and excellent, far above the variety of other travel mugs I've used. This one has quickly stepped into being my new daily choice.----------------------------------------------------Update after a few more weeks of using this:I think I like this travel mug even more. After being impressed with this one, I actually decided to try to upgrade my other mugs and tried a few different ones. I should have just gotten another one of these. The screw-on lid is such a nice, tight seal, and even the little handle I mentally mocked thinking I'd never use it has turned out to be a great way option when juggling a number of other bags: snap the lid close and pop out the little handle and suddenly I can carry the mug with a few other bags and such. Frankly, I'm amazed at how much I like this mug and its design.

This mug looked like a paper cup to me on the Amazon page. Then I ordered it for my wife as she liked it, but then the real thing still looks like a paper cup to me, I don't know if it is a good thing or not :) Here is what my wife says as the mug was for her:I bought this travel mug to take my morning coffee to the office. I currently use a Contigo for this purpose but due to the complicated lid design on Contigo, the lid never gets washed off well and smells like detergent all the time. This mug does not have this issue as the lid design is pretty simple and washed easily. However, due to this same simple design, insulation is not as good as my Contigo. This keeps my coffee warm for up to 2 hours but that is it. Contigo would be still pretty hot after 3-4 hours.One really nice little feature of this mug is the nice handle. It is really easy to carry it around by holding the little handle. The lid is tightly secured in place so carrying it by the handle is not a problem. The outside design looks better than the pictures and fits well into the cup holder in my car.

The media could not be loaded. I like the design of this a lot - the pattern is subtle cool and the handle for carrying is a nice design bonus. The cup kept my coffee very hot while the outside stayed a completely neutral temperature so terrific for handling. I had to take two stars off for a couple of funtion things - perhaps I just got a bum product but here are the two issues… ONE the flip top easily clicks to lock in the open position but does not easily click to lock atop the drinking hole. It takes me two hands and lots of pressure. At home, I tightened the top and got the top closed then turned it upside down - not “leak proof.” Some spilled out the sides of the top. Again, maybe I just got a top not up to par but that is what I got!

This travel mug is wonderful. I love the feel of it, it has a slip proof base, it doesn’t leak and it’s easy to clean! The lid screws on and off easily. Only slightly negative comment is that the handle breaks easily, but it doesn’t interfere with the functionality of the mug. Still super chuffed with it!

This is a solid, well constructed mug. I'm very picky with the style of the lids on my mugs, and this one fits perfectly. I like a flip top...they're just better lol. This one s great. It clicks or snaps or whatever closed very tightly and securely. The handle locks closed just as well, which is nice. No worries about either opening on their own.My coffee maker doesn't make the coffee very hot to begin with which is a downer, but this mug does a good job of keeping it as hot as it was when it came out of the pot. I am outside in the elements all day so the exterior temps vary, but I have noticed that I'm sipping hot coffee for a little under two hours. After that it's lukewarm for another two hours. Roughly 4 -5 hours before it cools completely.All in all, this will be my new daily so it's safe to say I'm not disappointed

Really pleased with the performance of this travel mug. Its lid fits very well, and when the cover is flipped down it appears to be spill-proof. Great for cars, trains, and drinking on the go. The included handle on the lid is a thoughtful addition that makes it easy to clip on the outside of a backpack with a carabiner.The walls are fairly thin, but it stays hot for at least 45 mins (I timed it). The outside texture is nice to the touch, and the design is fun without being obnoxious. I love the rubber pad on the bottom that keeps it firmly anchored to the counter, desk or whatever surface you're using at the moment.Cleanup is easy, as it doesn't have any weird nooks or geometry inside the lid. Great mug!
