3406107 3406109 Door Switch Replacement Part for Whirlpool & Kenmore Dryers by DR Quality Parts

I searched by design of the door switch. Our older model stackable doesn't have a third wire as pictured but as I found out one is extra presumably a safety ground on new models. I cut and spliced my old 2 wire connector into this 3 wire harness skipping the uneeded wire. Works perfectly if your switch looks the same and is two wire!

This dorr switch was delivereed on time. The cross reference chart was acurate to know whicjh model number to order. When i recived the switch it was of high quality well built i have no issues with this product. I will be using this supplier again for any other needs.

The media could not be loaded. This is EXACTLY what the problem was. I was given this dryer and it worked perfectly for about a week. I put clothes to dry one day, pushed the button and nothing. I looked on YouTube at the most common problems while your dryer won’t start and after checking the switch and seeing that there was no resistance when I pushed on it I knew that had to be the problem. I ordered this part for like six or seven bucks it came in two days and I installed it in 10 minutes. I feel like an appliance repair man now!

Seems to be a good replacement part but arrived later than promised. Time will tell.

I have no experience with appliance repair, but my dryer went out on Friday night. Watched a YouTube video and removed the faulty part in about 10 minutes. I ordered this part and installed it, and it works great now. Fixed my dryer in about 20 minutes and $7. I would recommend this part!

The product and quality A+. Easy installation and anyone can do this repair themselves.

First of all, I am amazed that Whirpool uses such a cheap plastic trigger in its dryers. If the trigger were built from metal, it would last forever. However, cheap plastic breaks after few hundred uses.Anyhow, good thing is that this part came fits well and easy to install.To help you on installation, I suggest you check youtube for installation videos.You just need a screw driver to unscrew the top from right under the under flint filter cover.Then, pull the top from both sides of the front end, it opens quickly and easily . Replacement part is right on the front right side, easy to reach out to unscrew and replace.Good luck..
