Not For Watercolor, not white
Size ok. Thickness ok. One size smooth, one more textured.I tried 3 types of watercolor pencil on both sides of paper. It was NOT easy laying down the pigment on either side, when I we over with wet brush the color and water would NOT go into the paper, but layer on top of grain. Not too much water but like the paper has resist coating or something. I used prismacolor, inktense, and Albrecht Drurer watercolor pencils. This pad goes into my pile of supplies for little kids when they to play.

Perfect Size for Travel
I love to be able to take along a sketchbook and pencil when I travel to capture something on paper that might not translate as well in a photograph. But it's also nice that either on site or later, you have the ability to add color and detail to what you've captured. Watercolor medium is always my medium of choice for adding color, so this small 25=sheet pad of Dyvici watercolor paper it the perfect answer. In the photos above, I was trying (rather unsuccessfully) to capture the inspiration from a photo, I received from a friend. I was testing a new set of markers and the colors on the caps were not always what I expected to see on the paper, so in the second photo you can see the start of a color chart that I will use for future testing. I was very pleased with the ability of the paper to not only absorb the acrylic markers, but it did not buckle or warp in places where I used a brush with clear water to try to blend the colors. I will post other projects from this pad as I use it in the future. It's a great size for travel, a small sketch, or trying out a watercolor technique.
