Fits a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD (Mercedes Engine)
This Beru GSE114 UNIT looks different from the original part and is an updated version.Although different it fits OK and most importantly works.Jeep wanted £277.04 for this part and at least a 2 day lead timeAmazon Prime £98 something and delivered to my home in less than a dayMy fault problem was that the Jeep just wouldnt start and there was an obd fault code of P0670 "Glow Plug control module" - took less than half an hour to remove old unit and fit new. Starting problems all gone!

Worked a treat on my Mercedes R class
I dont usually write reviews, but I am a bit strap for cash at the moment and thought I would diagnose and fix my car. I took the old part out, just remove the plate & connections on Merc. These ones are very different to a lot of the other simpler relays on youtube where they solder a copper wire on, I was expecting somehting like that but they are a pain to fix apparently the hardest ones to DIY.Anyhow, carefully multitool through the plastic dont go too deep & inside you will see a lot of circuitry, be careful at the plug end as thats where the delicate fuse/solder wires come in and often where the problem is. I drilled a small hole in that end and damaged the cables. One side has no board for a good 2cm I think its the right with the plug inputs facing up, but multi tooling did the trick, even if you get bits of plastic on the silicone. Now, it is coated in a load of silicone which is a pain to get off or work with, but I would just check to see if any of the wires are broken or come off the solder, you can see through the silicone, get a decent work light & magnifying glass. Mine were not (although I had broken it myself anyway) so I bought this part, fitted it and it works again. Probably would have cost at least £200-250 in a garage so it was satisfying to do it myself. Hopefully good for another 100,000 miles LOL.

replaced easily enough
Be sure to check the correct part number, but found what i was looking for placed the order and it arrived, i swapped it out, had the open circuit glow plug module error, was told that beru was the better one to replace with. tested and seems to start the car at 3 degrees, previously it would have taken 5 starts and a lot of white smoke so will know better in a few days and can check for the error again. But as for the amazon and this seller, perfect, couldn't ask for anymore.
