Works well. Connectors very small.
Very useful Raspi pico knockoff with built-in screen. With all the available documentation and resources, was able to get set up quickly. I liked the built-in battery charging circuit. Could not figure out a way to turn it off and make it still charge when powered completely off? Then pin spacing is very small, as is the battery connector. Not standard pin or battery connector size, but was able to order these.

Works as advertised, but tiny 1.27mm connectors impossible to find
The device works great and is very well made but the microscopic 1.27mm connectors are super difficult to find so the GPIO pins and be used, I wish they would charge a few extra dollars and provide two cables to use with this, it would make things so much easier, but the actual screen works great no problems there.

Great little screen, and the onboard rp2040 makes it easy to use
All I've done is plug it in with a USB-C cable and I'm already up and running with it. I chose to program it with Arduino and after a bit of googling to figure out how to activate the right SPI pins I had the Adafruit_GFX demos running. My only real complaint about this board is that it doesn't have any 3.3v supply pins, only VSYS, so I have to design a PCB with an LDO to add anything. Would be great if waveshare would put out some add-on boards for this thing, like RTC or wifi modules.

Display develioped dark and colored bands after 10 months. Worked till then..
Last June 2023, I wrote "This could be a FANTASTIC product if it worked! Come on guys, get your act together!" And they did!But by 9/24, the display developed dark bands indicating poor bonding of LCD to the PC board. The one I ordered in May 2023 looked bad and failed in less than an hour. But this one, received in January 2024, runs and looks great! Still trying to get all the documentation as nothing comes with it... but in 2024, I see there is more documentation on the web. This will probably be be fantastic. The accelerometer is really sensitive, so one will probably end up mounted in a concrete block outside to keep me posted on Califaultia's unrest. I think I am going to order more of these fantastic gadgets for robotics, maybe as a gravitometer, and other uses.

unit failed
The media could not be loaded. It's anecdotal, but I purchased a single unit of this device in January. I confirmed it was working, a really nice and unique display. Since then it's sat on my workbench without any serious drops or stress and I only recently got to working with it- the backlight has failed and the display appears to be missing every other line. I'm not sure if the problem is unique- maybe a cold soldering issue- or if it is due to the form factor. Before doing anything that requires more than one of these I'd recommend careful testing and ramping up.
