Cheap enough to try!
I bought this product as a treat to myself because i wanted to try the VR World and i jave to admit it, for the price is the best you can get.Of course, being cheap it has quite a lot of lacks. First thing, i was really disappointed, the quality of the VR is bad, your eyes will get tired after few minutes.Second thing, because it's made of cardboard, it won't last long, mine started to break after 10 days. Nothing important, you can still use it, but it'll be unconfortable. The part where you insert your phone started to not hold well and it's really dangerous because the phone could fall anytimeI bought another product after 20 days because i saw a friend with the Samsung Gear VR and i wanted to improve my VR experience.I bought a VR Box that is not like the gear but it's far better than this one.I suggest this if you don't want anything serious, but if you want something serious this is not for you.I used it with a samsung galaxy s4 active.Last thing, it's annoying if your phone has buttons that can be pressed by mistake during the experience. That will interrupt everything.Really useful is the button on the cardboard that let you interact with the phone during the game/video.I received the refund for this object because it was probably a faulty one. I really appreciated the politeness of the seller that asked me if i wanted the refund. Increased number of star to four because it is worth buying it for just that price. You won't find a cheaper one!!!

Amazing to see the potential but very poor lenses
So exited to try this out but found it impossible to get any kind of focus. On investigation it seems that the lens in the left eye is badly distorted at the centre. I'll be returning this one but hope another one will have better lenses. Even through the blur and eye strain it is still a suburb first glimpse into VREdit: following my post of the review, I received an email from the seller offering help to resolve the issue with a refund or replacement. While the product still rates at 2 stars I think the customer service from the seller, In4dealz, was 5 star and they very promptly provided a full refund. Thanks.

Cheap (£6) and fun. I bought this Cardboard set for using in conjunction with a Motorola G4. The picture is slightly fuzzy and the build quality is okay but not meant for long term use. In spite of both these criticisms I'd still buy it again. Regarding the fuzzy picture, this is for a mobile phone, it's not going to be the same picture quality as a Rift or Vive. And in terms of its build quality, it's a piece of cardboard, it's not intended to last for years. I'd happily recommend this product to my friends if they were looking for a cheap and competent Cardboard kit.

Gateway VR
I was intrigued to try VR. But I didn't want to stump up a load of cash to find out it wasn't worth it or if I got motion sickness like some people report. This fit the bill exactly.Pros: Cheap but not flimsy. It folds up easily & packs away quite small, it gives you the VR experience to try it out before spending proper money on a headsetCons:The lenses aren't the best and as said in other reviews a little bit bury. The strap for me is too tight so after prolonged use it became uncomfortable on my forehead.

EDIT: actually pretty good
(EDITED: i received a new unit for free :) )Unacceptably blurry. this product made me feel ill after using it for only a minute or two.while it sort of demonstrated what the google VR effort could do, it is absolutely unusable as the lenses do not perform to an acceptable standardI would really like to get a replacement with some good lenses, but otherwise will be pursuing a refund.EDIT: I was quickly contacted after i posted this review and offered a refund with no sendback, so i believe that i was just unlucky and have received a bad unit, so hopefully others will not have the same problem as meEDIT 2: so the second one i have has arrived, and it is much better. the lenses are fine and the product is comfy to use,it's great fun using my phone to play with VR and 3d, text is clear and actually possible to read, and i no longer feel ill when using it. would recommend, but if you get a dodgy unit be sure to contact the seller :)

Okay for the price + good customer service
As this item wasn't very expensive, the quality is expected. It's not comfortable to wear, at all and hurts the bridge of your nose. The active button is also not working on mine so I can't control my phone. The actual image produced my the two lenses is blurry too and can make some things hard to see.It seems to work well though, and for the price it's okayEdit: the company have since contacted me, having read my review, and are very happy to help with any problems.

Very disappointed
Purchased a whole load of these for a CPD VR training event. Wanted to give all the delegates one. They're rubbish. Impossible to focus and blurred. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what. and yes, I did remove the protective lens cover. We have a whole load of different HMDs from Rift to Vive to various types of Google Cardboard.Definitely not buying this brand again. Such a shame because they look well constructed.

Good demonstration, but frustrating overall
Cheap and gives a good idea of what vr is like, but design flaws make using this device frustrating. As mentioned in another review, the glue that sticks the Velcro pad to the cardboard is very weak. Nothing ruins immersion more than your headset flying off your head because the strap has disconnected. Mine broke within 5 minutes. Super glue did not fix it.Fun to try, but not a permanent vr solution.
