Makes my nasty well water taste and smell great!!!
I was skeptical because of the reviews but I think it’s great! We have NASTY well water in our house. It smells, and tastes terrible (yes, it’s safe to drink, it’s been tested many times). However once it goes through this filter, absolutely no smell and tastes great! My only regret is not getting the larger water tank option because I do have to fill it multiple times a day.

Highly recommend!
Love it! I’ve had it for about eight months now and it still doesn’t need a filter replacements even though I use it all day every day. Highly recommend it! It’s easy to fill the water reservoir up, easy to use, with 12 ounce and 20 ounce options, it filters very fast, it doesn’t take up much room as I use it on my bed room nightstand. Tip is if the water is overflowing in a cup, you could push the water button again at the top to get it to stop so it doesn’t overflow. Another tip is if the add water light keeps flashing, you could click the water button in the middle of the top again to squirt out a little bit more water so the light stops flashing or put a sticker or something over it lol highly recommend.

Britta Hub Countertop Dispenser in Action - Quick Demo & First Impressions
The media could not be loaded. First day with the Britta hub countertop water dispenser and I'm impressed - the water tastes amazing! Setup was mostly straightforward, though there was one hiccup worth mentioning for other buyers. When I first plugged it in, the pump made an unusual mild grinding noise. I later realized this was normal - it was just the pump trying to prime its lines and draw water through the new filter. During my first attempt, the unit stopped and displayed an "Add Water" light, despite the tank being full and properly inserted with the filter correctly installed. After reseating both the tank and filter, I tried again. This time, I let it run for about 15 seconds through the grinding sound. The noise then shifted to a rising whistle, and within moments, water began flowing - slowly at first, then quickly reaching a normal flow rate. After purging the tank twice, everything has worked perfectly. One suggestion for Britta: It would be helpful to include information about the initial priming process in the setup instructions. New users should know that some unusual sounds are normal at first, and that they may need to be patient during this initial setup phase. Even if they get an "Add Water" warning, simply reseating the components and trying again should resolve the issue - no pun intended!

Great for our purposes!
I’ve had it for about a couple months now. I must say it’s pretty reliable. Produces good tasting water that doesn’t filter too much. Some of the stuff in water I think are essential to have. If you’re using it for severely contaminated water, I’m not too sure I can vow for that. If you live in an area with decent water supply this is probably good enough. We also have a pitcher that helps to alkalize the water we get from this machine. So far, I don’t have any complaints. In the future, though, I hope they would upgrade the filter to get rid of more ‘forever chemicals’. That would of course increase the price point but I’d rather pay more in that case.-December 12th, 2023 update-Still working great for us. I went a bought a new filter just in case but the filter light has never been anything but green ever since I got the machine. Water still tastes great. Our tap water reeks of chlorine but after going into the filter and then into our cup, no such scent or taste is detected. So is the filter lasting unexpectedly long? Or is the filter light tripping hahaAnyway, I treat this machine like a prized possession whenever we move to a new place (moved twice this year). It feels somewhere in between delicate and sturdy. Of course it also takes love and care for anything to last long and continue to function well. The machine is wrapped up and cushioned nicely in its own dedicated cardboard box. And I carry it myself in the car in my lap all the way through lol The end line is, this has been the best $180 I’ve spent in my entire young adult life thus far.I want to note that I never detach the reservoir from the machine to refill water. I refill it using a 32 oz water pitcher by pouring directly into the reservoir. It takes 2-3 short trips from the kitchen sink to the counter space where I have this machine situated. I think it helps in the longevity of the system by minimizing leakage and such. Also hauling the whole reservoir filled with water gets to be too much for tiny ol me haha
