For a long time, I have wanted an extension for my Virpil Alpha and WarBRD flight stick and base. The offerings from some companies are nice but can take forever to arrive and can be. An online conversation reminded me that Thrustmaster Warthog extensions work with Virpil products. I found this item on Amazon, with Prime shipping. The extension is anodized aluminum. The fit was perfect, and the extended length makes for a surprising improvement in control and detail. Comes with an extended cable adapter. The connector that goes on at the base could have some kind of snap-on feature. I feel that this connection is not as secure as it could be. But once everything was put together, there are no issues that I can see and it all works. Had to make adjustments to the stick mount. But I expected that.

Funzionale, facile installazione, tutto ok.

Allows for more leverage and finer control of the stick. The plastic inserts inside the main tube are in two parts which is a great advantage of this extension. With a little work with a dremel, the lower of the female locating parts was adapted to allow realignment of the stick to give the 15 degree anti-clockwise position. Around 4mm was removed. The two parts were connected with a small amount of superglue on the mating faces. This makes the stick far more comfortable and similar to stick alignment on the real aircraft. Highly recommended

Casi imprescindible si tienes un warthog, sobre todo si lo notas muy duro y quieres más precisión, el producto es de muy buena calidad el tubo principal es metálico y trae unas piezas de plástico grueso para que no rote y además es mucho más barato que otras marcas

Lange von mir gesucht (und von vielen anderen). Eine Hotasverlängerung aus Aluminium in Schwarz und nicht aus Kunststoff (3D Druck), welche ein gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis hat.Diese Verlängerung (10cm) besteht aus einen Aluminium-Aussenrohr und 2 Kunststoff-Innenrohre, welches perfekt passt. Ein passende Kabel für die Datenübertragung runden das Paket ab.Ich habe es auf meinen Thrustmaster Warthog installiert, es funkioniert aber auch bei Cougar und Moongos T50 Jpysticks, bzw. mit allen kompatibelen Joysticks.Die Installation ist leicht und selbsterklärend. Es liegt aber auch eine bebilderte Anleitung bei.Mich selbst hatten zwar die 2 Kunststoffrohre zuerst irritiert, doch dann hatte ich den Zweck dahinter erkannt. Die Innen-Rohre verfügen über 4 Positions-Nasen, welche für die Ausrichtung des Joystick sorgen. Ein (selbstständiges)verdrehen des Joystick ist dadurch nicht möglich. Ein erster Testflug mit meiner Huey in DCS war ein richtiges Aha-Erlebnis. Durch die erweiterte (neue) Hebelwirkung lässt es sich nun viel feinfühliger steuern.Die Lieferung war kostenlos und erfolgte auch direkt am nächsten Tag (dank Prime?).Dieses Produkt empfehle ich uneingeschränkt weiter
