Great set!

I work at a dog groomers and bought these to learn the finish work. I bathe and trim the dogs down and my boss does the finishing job. I started practicing on my Pomeranians and she couldn’t believe the job I did and said let me try those. She literally was so impressed by how great these sheets are that she bought a set and I have her kimchi’s she just bought up for sale on fb marketplace! These are great! And for the money you can’t go wrong!

Nice sharp scissors

Let's be honest: at $39.99 or $41.49 with a comb you can't expect professional grade grooming scissors. However, for my two Standard Poodles I wanted titanium or titanium coated scissors with a case for those times when they need a little shaping but aren't ready for a full professional grooming. And, since I'm not a professional groomer, so far they're doing an acceptable job. The quality is good; the tips are blunt so I don't have to worry about poking an eye out; the scissors are comfortable to use and they're not intimidating for a non-professional. The case is very handy so I can easily find what I need. I bought the set with the comb (yes, it's cheaply made, but with Standards you can never have too many combs!).Caution: The finger holes are small (and I have small hands) so someone with larger fingers may not find them comfortable. Also, these might be ok for a professional groomer to practice with, but you'd never make any money with them since they're fairly short. They are made in China (I sure wish Amazon would include the country of origin more prominently).Bottom line: Inexpensive; acceptable quality; safe to use; sharp enough; handy case; my dogs haven't complained! Recommend for home use but not for professional groomers.

I have been a professional groomer for 56years, and these are the best shears I have ever used. I am reading reviews saying the finger holes are too small, but you only use the tips of your fingers when correctly holding these shears to groom dogs. The shears fit my hand better than 88 shears do, so I love the smaller size of these shears.These shears also hold an edge, for a long time, making having them sharpened often, unnecessary.I also love that these new sets being offered have the comb included, as I really need a new comb. Over the years, I have now purchased four sets of King shears, and this will be my fifth set. I won’t use any other shears but these. I love them!

I've been a professional dog groomer for 19 years and for the price point, these scissors are so nice! They are a little on the heavy side but they make to for it in sharpness and they seem to hold an edge well. They are also very pretty. I highly recommend these for any professional that is trying to save money and still get a good product. Novice and home groomers should beware they are very sharp and professional quality. Still very much worth the purchase as long as your aware and careful!
