Plug bulb in before using
When I first took it out of the package, I thought I was sent a faulty detector. As I was looking through the instructions, it said something about removing the bulb. I checked and it wasn't pushed in all the way. After that, it works great. It makes the uv mark shine brighter than using a UV/led nail lamp. I'm guessing it's not plugged in all the way so it doesn't get damaged in shipping (?) Had to get this as there's been loads of reports of fake money going round. Can't risk getting fakes

Cable broke too quick
It works well does the job but the fuse cable broke within 3 months!
