Izumi clean cut rotary shaver with IZD 210 silver (imported from Japan. The package and the manual are written in Japanese) by Izumi.

This is a great shaver. I don't understand the reviews that claims it does nothing. It is very efficient, but that is provided that the hair is only short stubble. It doesn't cut longer hair. I made a small experiment. I shaved the left side of my face with a Gillette Fusion Proglide razor and the right side of the face with the Izumi clearcut. I asked my wife: which gives the closest shave? She said the one that had been shaved with Izumi! One of the differences is that with a razor, you shave along the growth of the hair , not against it, while with the Izumi you shave with circular motions. My wife uses it for her private parts and she is very satisfied with how it shaves. She never has to worry about nicks when she shaves and the result is a very, very close shave. It works best if the skin is really dry, so the use of powder is recommended. We use ordinary household cornstarch. It doesn't contain any unnecessary perfumes, it's cheap and it does the job.UPDATE: TIP ON HOW TO GET AN EVEN CLOSER SHAVE! Since the hair gets longer when it is humid, take a shower before shaving. This will lead to the hair getting longer. Then quickly dry with a towel, powder with starch and shave. Since the hair is slightly longer than when it is completely dry, this will give a closer shave. Then the hair will dry and contract, and you will have an extremely close shave. My wife found out just by accident (usually shaves before shower, but reversed the order and got a much closer shave)

Took forever to arrive and doesn't cut as close as I would like and if your hair isn't short in the first place forget it, it will cut nothing!It does a job and doesn't leave nicks or cuts in delicate area's and it also collects what it cuts.Just a recommendation though, I think you should invest in rechargeable C size batteries and a charger if you can, because this eats batteries and only performs at its best when it is running with a fresh battery.

This only works on hair that has been cut so low that you wouldn't need this razor. The only use i think it will serve well for is when you're on holiday and you're re touching bikini line on the way to the beach. I would have been gutted if I'd bought the uk £45 version.

Its not great at cutting longer hair but will cut short stubble well.

I love this product. It works really well, the metal casing feels and looks great quality (though the small bits of plastic that form the bottom and seals seem less well made).It doesn't come with a battery, so make sure you order one (a C).I said it was amazing, and it is when you use it every day or every other day. It shaves stubble. It does not shave hair that is a couple of millimetres long, at least not easily. You need to get the hair short initially using another product, then use this for daily maintenance.Once you've done that, you can use this product without shaving powder (I've heard people say you need it, but I don't). You don't even need to look at what you're doing- you can do it all by touch - there is no risk of nicking yourself like you would with a manual razor.I've also tried a ladyshave and find this significantly better. The ladyshave is too big and doesn't do a great job. The head on this is quite small so better for the bikini area.The only downside to this product is how long it takes to arrive from the Far East.

A poor quality product that stopped working after a month!

Excellent price, it actually cost less to buy and ship it from Japan than to buy a replacement blade head from the UK. These items are around £60.00 in the United Kingdom. Useful little battery powered razor although the battery compartment cover could be a little better made as it is slightly flimsy in feel. This is the second unit I've purchased the first being a Seiko branded one. The item is good on short stubble but is no good for longer hair so a larger trimmer is needed to get to the stubble stage. I recommend the seller and the product

Nicely made, and well engineered. Leaves a nice clean and smooth trim. However this will NOT cut long hairs, mainly its for a smooth finish after using other methods to cut the longer hairs. Gives a nice buff finish.
