Played demo and can't wait for the full game
I played the demo and was quite impressed, never had a cricket game before but I like this very much. Looks great in high def although the umpire looks a bit worse for wear :)Roll on Summer and lazy afternoons whacking the ball out of the stadium.!

Average
Very average, this game hasnt improved much since the early days of the Megadrive. But now the keeper has got some sort of fascination taking the bails off which after 3 overs saw me turn it off. Dont bother, wait for something better to come along.

Stumped!
If you like reality please dont buy this game!too easy, awful test match mode and it doesnt even know the rules of the game........how can you be out when you play onto opposite stumps after a straight drive when the bowler doesnt touch the ball?????????????oh and the most annoying wicket keepers in the world!played ea's cricket on playstation 2 and it was well better than this!

Scotland has a cricket team?
I know zip about cricket. One of the reasons I bought this. To try and instil an appreciation of the game. I will never watch or play cricket but this game is quite decent and good fun.Graphically it has seen better days. The commentary can get a bit tedious after a while and the reggae BGM is just annoying. However, the game has a good tutorial and once you have been through that you can get up and running. You can do a one day test or international or a tournament of each.If you stick to the basics the game is good fun. You can employ more advanced controls but the basics did me. Despite crickets reputation for being boring (for some) I found the game exciting at times, like actually hitting the ball. Best bit is trying to squeeze in another run. Fielding is a bit hit and miss and all the controls rely on timing like quick time events.Yes, it is relatively easy but at least it is playable.

Good fun but way too easy!!
Whilst its the best cricket game on 360... the previous one (2005) was at least more competitive. I mean I've played this on the hardest, realistic setting (test) and made over 1200 runs in 60 overs in one innings of a test match. The only way to make it competitive is to save it after an innings and then load it up and play as the other team and try to chase down the mammoth score you made previously. The only other way to make it remotely competitive is to play as Bermuda or Ireland against Australia or the West Indies. It makes it MUCH harder... you have to rely on lots of singles, but its STILL too easy! I tried a 20/20 game on the 'slog' setting thinking that would be the hardest. I made 435 and bowled the computer out for 65. Silly. That said its still a lot of fun for cricket fans!!

xbox 360 demo
just played the demo, graphics have inproved greatly. Although the gameplay is somewhat jerky on the bowlers approach making timing difficult. fielding is also a bit more difficult now with the timing bar poping up before the ball gets to the player. Other than these small pointers the game is shaping up nicely. Fingers crossed the jerkyness will be sorted before the release
