Really like this WDT tool, it is lightweight with a sturdy base and doesn’t feel like plastic that won’t hold up.

I bought this to see what all the fuss was about with these WDT tools (and to be ironic, if I'm honest). After using it for a while, I decided that it might actually improve the espresso a little, but didn't do a controlled experiment or anything. Even if I'm wrong and they don't do anything, they're fun to use. I eventually made a really nice one out of wood, to go with a couple other tools I made, but this metal one works just fine.

I use it every day to stir up and distribute the ground espresso in the portafilter. It seems to have made my shots more consistent. It's small, looks pretty ok sitting next to my brevilleachine, and is about as uncomplicated as you can get. Tiny needles break up clumps of ground coffee.

Well built, and you can customize the amount/position of the needles. I'm happy.

Love this dense little thing. Works great for our sober lounges little caffine station. It's very heavy and feels great in the hand. The espresso color is gorgeous too.
