yep I have done the test and me phone is still in tact - as a trades man it gets hammeredwhat iwill say though - it totally hides the fact that you have an iPhone so if your the sort of person that wants to show of your phone - this isn't the case for you -- - if you want it to be protected then it is.as the phone is in mint condition using this casetipput a piece of kitchen paper towel in-between the back of the phone and the case as the honeycomb indentations of the case does leave a mark on the phone - I know this as I have had 1 of these cases for 12 months and bought this for my son - his phone has no marks due to paper towel - mine does

Absolutely furious. Put on new phone, within 10 hours dropped my phone from a short height and the screen has smashed from the supposedly protected corner. May as well have not had the case on it.Edit: I was contacted by Anker customer service who immediately refunded me the cost of the case. Obviously this doesn’t fix the screen issue I now have which will cost much more to fix, but I did appreciate the gesture and the customer service is very speedy and proactive. They also offered me £10 towards another anker product which I am putting towards a soundcore mini speaker, an awesome product that I have tried from them in the past.I still wouldn’t recommend this product to protect a phone, but if you like the way it looks it would be fine to protect your phone from superficial scratches. You could definitely fit a glass screen protector under the case which I didn’t based on other reviews. I think if I had applied a glass screen protector in addition it may have reduced the damage to the phone a little.

I’m adding an update to my previous review in which I sang the praises of this case and Anker products in general. I still believe this is a good protective case but have been disappointed with the screen protector which after a few weeks has become badly scratched and a large bubble has appeared! It does a good job, of course, and will be fine for some who don’t mind scratches and bubbles on their protector in the knowledge that their phone is being kept in pristine condition. But I’m not one of them! I’ve now bought some tempered glass protectors which, frankly, look and feel so much nicer. I’ve had to get another case to enable me to use these as they won’t work with the Anker case and I’m not too sure about cutting and removing the existing protector. What a pity the Anker products don’t come with better glass screen protectors as it makes so much sense to buy an ‘all in one’ protection for the phone, even if a decent quality screen protector means a price increase. I remain a fan of Anker products but think they should consider making a premium product worthy of encasing our very expensive phones!

Following my somewhat negative review below-Anker got in touch and offered a replacement or refund. In the end Inopted for a refund and I was delighted that they reached out to a customer to deal with my complaint.The case is generally robust-I have dropped my phone hundreds of times and it is still fine. However on day 1, I must have put keys in my pocket with the phone and this quickly created a 1cm long, 1mm deep groove in the surface of the screen protector. Over time, the screen protector has become more and more scratched, creating so many reflections and glare it is no longer usable. The headphone port cover means this is also not usable with many large headphone jacks I.e over ear types and speaker cabling.I think it is best to have a case and then a separate tempered glass screen protector.I will donate this screen protector to charity.

For its price this is a wonderful case. Its easy design and assembly makes for a perfect addition to the iPhone 6S plus phone.It truly encases the phone and allows for simple access to all relevant ports and buttons. The case displays the phone screen perefectly and with an inbuilt protective screen adds an additional layer of protection to the screen. The headphone and charging ports are easily accessible and also covred by 'plugs' that ensure any dust or fluff that may block these essential ports are offered a level of protection not found in other more expensive products.I am always careful with my phone and try wherever possible to never drop it but if I were to, I would believe this case offers suitable protection.I am a recent convert to Anker products having previously purchased some lightening cables and were suitably impressed with their design and durabilty. I feel the same about this case.Its design complimets the iPhone beautifully and the material it is made of suggests durability.

This case is slimmer than I thought it would be. Let me be honest I did not buy it for its looks - which aren't bad. But there are times and places where the environment is just not iPhone 6 friendly. I wanted something that I could use in a dusty/gritty environment and that would protect from the odd knock etc. This Anker case seems to do just that. Obviously it isn't dust PROOF because there needs to be access for the mic, earpiece and camera but this certainly reduces the exposure of the phone to the working environment. The screen cover seems robust and does not interfere with using the touch screen. There are port covers to protect the headphone socket and USB port - but still allow access without having to remove the case.Fitting the case is not as difficult as first appeared from the detailed instructions. Just do what it says and it fits! The side buttons are well protected yet still usable when the case is fitted. It is easy to put on or take off as needed. As I said this is good for a more robust environment - I also have a leather wallet cover for the phone to use for more 'formal' environments. For the price this is a good piece of kit and I do not regret buying it. Hope this helps you make a choice - please vote if it does!
