BULLDOG SKINCARE - Original Beard Balm, For Condition & Light Hold, For All Beard Types, 75g

Same title as my review for Bull Dog beard shampoo because once again, Bull Dog delivers on simple solid quality without trying to rip off people with gimmicks. "Premium" this, "sandalwood" that, no "this makes you a classy gentleman or a viking."Has a decent hold for something that really doesn't feel bothersome or heavy, pleasant mild scent, makes your beard feel healthy and clean if properly used and well distributed, plenty enough in the tubs even if they don't usually come packed to the top, and affordable enough to stock up on.

Well worth the money spent

Very easy to work into my beard, but it leaves a slightly more oily texture than I've experienced with other brands. Great for providing hold though it took some experimenting to find the right amount to use and there's no information about that on the tub. Leaves a pleasant and subtle smell.

I am a man who has always struggled to tame the beard. This product is brilliant!! Lovely smell, great hold and make the beard feel silky smooth. Use once a day after shower to add the life back to the beard.

I have bought many different beard balms over the years, because I suffer from dry skin at the roots of my beard and it’s embarrassing when it shows on dark clothing.Most of them are quite “stiff” - like hair wax. This is different- closer to a ladies night cream in consistency.It is also different in that it is the only beard balm I have used that actually smells really nice.I use a stiff brush to brush it in. A little goes a very long way. I have a goatee and this would last me 2-3 months of daily application. I never see any dry skin on my clothes when I use it. In addition it softens my beard quickly and makes it look much neater.5 stars.

Some people love this stuff, other people don't, I seem to be somewhere in the middle, sometimes it tames my beard, other times it leaves it sticking up all over the place, I haven't yet worked out the reason.

My husband loves these

I've tried several beard balms and this is emerging as the favourite. I like the soft texture and the slight hint of fragrance. It's certainly the most pleasant to apply and I like to think that the softness and moistness help it to penetrate the hairs.In any case, it provides a perfectly adequate hold without becoming hard or sticky, and as with all balms the beard seems to almost "set" in the right way with regular use.
