The bayonet-base of this bulb is a BA15d base, it has a 15mm (approximately 0.6 inch) diameter body excluding the pins. This is a 130 Volt bulb, but it can be used in 120 Volt household circuits and will last significantly longer than a 120 Volt bulb (but produce slightly less light).
