Psychology: Themes and Variations, Briefer Version 9th Edition

Clear easy to read and understand, LOTS of good information in this book. The book covers the material really well and is very detail oriented, maybe a little TOO detail oriented where it could be confusing but overall I LOVE this book~

The book is well written, clear and effective. The price, for a rented, used textbook, was very reasonable. The book was in excellent condition except for one thing - a 5 inch slash in the cover that looks like it was done with razor blade or Xacto knife. Hopefully, Amazon does not charge us for this.

As far as textbooks go, I guess this one is pretty interesting. Very long chapters, though. Arrived on time for my class.

Used this textbook in my college Intro to General Psych class. Not bad. I like the application sections at the end of each chapter. The biggest thing I didn't like about this textbook was the discussion of evolutionary psychology. The arguments were weak. They should not have been mentioned in this textbook with no legitimate evidence. Other than that, one of the better textbooks I've used.

As this was gift, I really don't have much to say about the product. The recipient was happy and nothing more has been said.Ordering was easy; delivery was prompt.
