Tray is very lightweight...not for heavy items
Have not used the trays yet. I purchased for carrying coffee condiments to conference rooms. Trays are very light weight but should be able to handle the weight for items to be carried.

Very versatile
Nice size, easy to use on laptop to eat from. Ordering a second set, as I use the first two as a tray for my dog's dishes and the other for my toaster to keep the drawer and countertop crumb-free.

Paint/plastic coming off after 1.5 months use
The tray was great at first, but after 1 months I noticed loose paint on the plates that I put on it. Looking closer I realized that the paint and/or plastic became liquid in one of the corners and produced a strong chemical smell. I am not sure what caused it as I used the tray only to carry plates with food to the dining table. Clearly the plastic/paint is not robust , even though it looks great. I don't think that this plastic is safe to use for the kitchen.
