Don't waste your money
Junk, don't waste your money. On our first fishing trip, it seemed to cast ok, then stopped retrieving the line. We ended up with a big wad of line that would not reel back into the fishing reel. The rod seems to be ok, but the reel is junk. Since our first fishing trip was after the return period, we were unable to return it for a refund. I would NOT recommend this product.

I do not recommend this combo from Amazon
I bought this fishing rod in this soon as I went to use it and broke, the line was Tangled in the reel, and the real literally fell apart on the first use, couldn't even get it put back together now I've had zebco products in the past and they were good, I suggest if you want one of these go to your local store like Walmart get it there at least you can return it without any hassle not recommended

Does what I need it to. Pretty easy to use. Not the best rod I'm sure, but for a beginner like me, I'm happy with it.
