Installed in ground with some rock at bottom & used a pc of plastic pipe in ground for extra strength although it comes with an extra pc. Seems very strong. The flag that comes with it is very flimsy. We bought another one

Home use

Came home from work to find my pole and flag on the ground. This was during a wind storm and the pole totally bent over from wind. Never seen such a thing.

Easy to put together, however the packaging could be better thought out. It was difficult to get the poles apart because the smaller ones were jammed inside the larger ones, once separated very easy to set up. I'm satisfied overall.

The media could not be loaded.  Held up surprisingly well in the wind off the lake. You can see in the video it’s got quite a bit of give. I would not recommend hanging a second flag, and I should note that I have the first pole completely below my base pipe (so it’s deep). I’m not sure how it would fare in this wind if it was at normal depth and full extension. I did have the same problem many others have listed, one of the pipes comes stuck in another pipe and to get it out, it feels like you are going to break it. My shipped product did also have a small dent in one of the poles, but it’s holding up. The flag design would benefit from a better way to attach the bottom of the flag to weigh it down so that it doesn’t bunch up in the wind. Overall for the price and how well it’s holding up in some windy days on the lake, I give it 4 stars.

This is my second one. First one survived a hurricane and almost 2 tornados. Second tornado got it. Definitely durable and easy to take down flags. Very impressed with this pole.

The pole sections shipper inside the larger pole sections were impossible to pull out of the larger pole. Fortunately I only wanted a 14’ pole or I would have had to send it back. I was able to drive out the middle small pole with a socked used as a driver. It damaged the end of the pole which was OK as I had to cut off the tapered end to use it as the top section. I just left the other small section that was stuck in the bottom section. Probably adds some add strength. This is not for someone who does not have tools and shop experience. The instructions are terrible and the provided screwdriver is too small for the screws. Setting the ground PVC base is not that easy with such a thin wall piece.This is a big improvement to my homemade pole. It was a lot harder to install because of the poor packaging and terrible instructions.

I loved this flag pole, at first. It didn’t even make it a year, we had some wind today, 10mph, the product description says it will withstand up to 40mph, well the bottom section bent and broke, which caused it to crash down onto my roof, so hard that it also broke the top light. I can’t find any information for warranty, I would spend the extra money for a better quality flag pole.
