Good Calculator, works well, farily durable.
I've had this awhile, didn't review it right away as I was not sure of its features and use. I bought this to replace a TI Scientific calculator I had for a long time. This had a lot more features, had to really play with it to understand how to use it. If I was a millenial or younger I probably would have picked it right up, but I'm much older. I like that it has a solar cell and a battery, haven't had to replace the battery and its been a couple of years. The feel of the buttons seems cheaper than my old TI, but it works well, very functional, display is not always the brightest but in decent light it is very clear and readable. Has a slide on cover that fits on the back when in use and then slides off and onto the front to protect the buttons when needed, good design as it won't get lost or broken that way.

Good programmers calculator
It seems a bit perverse to not just use the calculator tool built in to most major operating systems, but sometimes you just need to do a quick calculation without wading through menus. This does the important bit twiddling operations on buttons (doesn't have rsh/lsh/rol/ror, but you can cope) and is equally convenient for fixed point/normal calculations.Good readable screen (man I wish it was backlit) and a sturdy cover for sticking in your laptop bag.Pretty sure this is the best option outside a vintage 16cWeird limitation of 9 binary digits means you can only convert hex up to 1FF

Lots of features to learn. Quadratics too.
Not as simple as the old single line 506 model. Lots of features to learn.

I love this calculator!
I gave up my TI-83 and 84 and switched to a TI-30X because it was approved for use on all of the standardize tests that require calculators without advanced memory and storage. Why did I never go back to a more advanced calculator?? Who the hell knows!A colleague of mine recommended this calculator and damn, I have been missing out! The best part of this is a one button change from decimal to improper fraction to reduced fraction. This has been a game changer in checking my kids math homework with the improper and reduced fraction displays! I love this calculator!

Probably the best scientific calculator
I got this as an upgrade from my TI 30Xa. It does what I need and so much more! Like others have said, it’s like a graphing calculator, but without the graphing part. It has integrals, summations, exact answers (pi, fraction, and square root), statistics, scientific constants, vector calculations, matrix calculations, a basic equation solver, and much more. And even though it doesn’t actually graph equations, you can input y= equations and it will give you a table of values you could use to manually graph. It can be a bit tricky to understand how to use it, but once you get the hang of it, you will be flying though menus.Overall, this is, in my opinion, the best scientific calculator you can get.

Not your typical scientific calculator
At first i was pissed with this calculator for having very simple things in a different way compared to regular Casio calculators. For example for a negative number you have to write 0-(number). Then i figured there was a dedicated negative key which is not the same minus key. Other con i find about this calculator is that the keys are very noisy. When everyone is silent during and exam, the only thing that can be heard in the room is me pressing keys. But when you get used to this quirks this is a beautiful an lightweight calculator.

My new favorite calculator
One-button hex/octal conversion, lots of functionality, very intuitive to use, nice multi line display. Much easier to use than my Casio, more functionality than my Ti-34. Slim too, less bulky than the current generation of TIs.
