Q: Will led candelabra bulbs work in the sockets of this wiring harness?

I bought these and put round LEDs in them and they work fine, so I would say yes.

Q: what is the diameter of the threaded stem? That is what size hole is required to make the socket fit?

The hole in my fixture is 7/8”. The new stem fits fine. Hope this helps.

Q: are the sockets connected in series or parallel?

I was curious too about how the bulbs were wired. It makes a difference. If wired in "series", if one bulb burned out, the others would not light. If wired in "parallel", one bulb burned out, the others would remain lit. I asked the question and folks that own the socket harness say that when one bulb burned out, the others remained "on". Therefore the harness bulbs are wired in parallel.

The wire with the writing on it is HOT.
