I cannot recommend this product as it failed after 4 months. After the initial setup, the unit front panel controls operated OK. The sound quality of CD playback was poor i.e. poor low and high frequency response similar to telephone voice response. When we switched from daylight savings I attempted to change the clock settings but found the control button used to enter the time change mode would not work. Also, the controls to adjust settings for the alarm and radio frequencies failed.

Returned it for 2 reasons: 1)The numbers were so bright it light up our whole bedroom. It was definitely too bright for a bedside table. 2) When I played a CD for sleep the sound of the turntable was so loud and distracting I couldn't concentrate on the CD. It has a lot of features that are nice, so if you don't mind the bright light or the background noise it would be a great product.

Absolute junk, if your job requires you to be there on time, this is not the clock radio for you, Instructions are overly complicated, and printed in a very small type, no apparent online support, after setting time and alarms the first time, the buttons have become completely non-responsive, can't change the time, can't change the alarm times or whether or not its the alarm or radio or CD, snooze and sleep function buttons do nothing, can't even turn the radio off after the alarm goes off, significant other threw the box away so into the bin it goes, DO NOT BUY-AVOID AT ALL COSTS, If I could give less than one star I would.

I wear-out a programmable alarm every few years because I am required to get out of bed at different times every day for work. Hopefully, this item will be high-quality enough to wake me for several years. Shipping to me was two days faster than estimated which is always a pleasant surprise. At this time, the Memorex player functions well. When the settings jam, I simply unplug the clock to empty the alarm setting memory. My previous Memorex continues to jam, not correcting the alarm time settings.

Unfortunately, my daughter opened this yesterday and today it does not work. It was really easy to set everything up and she used the alarm function this morning. We have been trying now to set the alarm for an hour and nothing will make it work. We turned it off and on and tried to unplug it, but now it won't even let us reset the regular clock:(

I bought this item for my 6 yo daughter in July for her nightstand in her bedroom. She likes to listen to lullaby music on her cd at bedtime. Over the past two+ months it has developed a whirring / whishing sound when you play the cd and it is getting worse by the day. Additionally, it has started skipping when reading the cd. Quite frankly, it's just awful! I am MOST disappointed. I thought Memorex made a much better product than this. I do NOT recommend that you purchase this item. I will be calling to see about returning it!

The display is extremely bright to have close to the bed, and I could not find a way to dim it. The alarm setting comes on easily like if you move it around, but we found it hard to get it to go off - and it's loud.so many buttons and no manual!It's great otherwise, but wish wehad a manual with it.

So far, so good. The alarm buzzer is a bit loud and the light is super bright but I like the features and the set up wasn't too difficult. My concern is once I get used to it, the snooze button and off button are really close together. They are different sizes but when you're half asleep, it will be easy to hit the off instead of the snooze. Time will tell.
