This is a lovely book, the kind that librarians want to read to their own kids. Well done all around. A must have for your child’s library.

Great story about being who you really want to be. The pages feel different (good different) from other books- they're made from Stone instead of trees! Neat! DEFINITELY recommend. My daughter's dance class is doing their recital based on this book! :) She's a sad Sally butterfly!

Who would not want a magic hat? But the real magic comes from within each of us. We can realize our true self when we are not worried about what others think of us. We might even find a friend in the process.

Very cute story and nice illustrations. Nice message although not sure the kids quite get the message, but they both enjoyed it quite a bit (boy 5, girl 3)

Love this story!! The book arrived without a book sleeve on the outside, which is not a big deal. Also, pages are made out of a new material that are supposedly tear proof and waterproof.. they feel pretty cool and are not made from trees. Save the trees!

I actually loved the story in this book but unlike some reviewers, I did not like the artwork. It was too flowery, abstract, and over the top and some images were so close up on the page you literally couldn’t make out what it was without careful examination. I was very disappointed and decided not to gift this one.

Though this book has beautiful illustrations, it isn't very well written. For example, I find myself flipping back a page because I feel like I might have missed something. I would not purchase this again.
