I'm in my early 40s and never had knee surgery. The reason I got this is for basketball due to my knee getting weak from cutting and jumping. I thought I had a slight minuscus tear but xray was negative. When I use this, it feels like it holds my knee together and gives a tight feeling. It does slide down a bit but I'm sure any type of sleeve will (gravity). It holds really snug but comfortable. I took 1 star off because one threading started coming undone after 1st use. Overall I am happy and price was right. I would recommend to anyone with similar situation as mine.

Sizing instructions had me select sm. All fits fine except thigh band is too tight and uncomfortable bulges thigh above it. Also has loose strands of stitching.

This is a really good compression sleeve, gives my knees the added support they need, and stay in place for the most part, this is a great buy!
