OmronEvolv Bluetooth Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor - Clinically Validated Blood Pressure Arm Cuff - One-Piece Portable Monitor

I've used OMRON blood pressure testers for years and it's often what I see in a doctor's office. I have one I've had so long, I can't remember when we purchased it. It has a rigid cuff making it easier for me to use but the digits in the display were starting to fail. We have several with the regular soft cuff but I cannot use them, when alone.The OMRON Evolv has a rigid cuff with the display and pump attached. Even though it is used on the upper arm, not the wrist, I wasn't sure I'd like it and was pleasantly surprised. Easy to mount on your arm, easy to use, easy to store. The first time I used it I was surprised, as it measures the pressure points, as the pump is applying pressure. It goes up and shortly after passing the higher systolic pressure point, it quickly deflates with the reading displayed in a small window on the side of the pump unit. Gone is the cuff being pumped to a high pressure, then deflating slowly. With the recommended arm for measuring blood pressure, being the left arm, the small display window faces your body when mounted on the left arm.It does not have storage of the readings on the device (where the user can see them) but transmits via Bluetooth to a free program you can install on your phone. This works very well when your doctor wants to know how they've been running. Sometimes the phone dings when a recording is received, sometimes not. I've been using it for two months and when I first started, I must have closed the app on my phone, as I did not have a reading for three days. The next measurement transferred to the phone, along with all of my 'missing' readings. Sometimes the device will request retesting, I'm guessing when it senses something different or not normal. When retests are similar, it transmits an average and it is designated as such in the app.This unit does an excellent measuring and recording my blood pressure.

If you are looking for a blood pressure monitor, based on my own personal experience I'd highly recommend an Omron. I have an older Omron BP monitor (which worked great, and was one of the better series models maybe 10 years ago) but purchased this newer Evolv model due to the one piece design and app connectivity to automatically record all my measurements (without having to write them down to show my doctor). Another reason which swayed my decision toward this specific model, it is made in Japan - where products are typically made with a finer quality and attention to detail. I'm very happy with my purchase, everything seems super simple to use, and this is a quality device.To the best of my knowledge the performance is outstanding. When I started to have trouble with my BP running higher, yes....I did indeed take this one into my doctors office to check the accuracy. When we compared to his measurement to this Evolv monitor, they were within a point or two from being the same reading. My doctor explained how even when sitting at rest BP could vary slightly from reading to reading. When taking a reading with my old Omron monitor and this newer Evolv, the result is also typically the same.The Omron brand is the #1 doctor and pharmacist recommended monitors for a reason. Good stuff!

This is the third, and best, blood pressure monitor I have owned. I have an old electric with a tube and D batteries, and a wrist unit. The tubed one is the better of the old ones, but it is enough of a hassle to get the cuff adjusted just right that I do not use it as often as I should, and it has several settings for the high range it will test, and when my pressure was high, I needed to pick the right one. This one goes on easily, and you do not have to position with a tube aligned with the pulse point. It unfolds and wraps around your upper arm directly -- you do not have to slide it up your forearm. (Very useful if you are wearing a watch of a shirt.). It is faster than my older BP monitors, and will also sync with an app on my iPhone. If you need to monitor, but the hassle deters you, this is a game-changer.

I really want to give this five stars because it has been great for me. I love that with the app it tracks my results and calculates averages. However, it is not easy to use for more than one person. So it is not really great for casual use by someone else. When my husband uses it, I have to delete his readings and record them somewhere else so that my calculated averages are not messed up. There is a way to set it up to use for more people (by each person have their own account/app) but that was a lot of work just for my husband to use it for a couple of days. Our old Omron had settings to be able to record person 1 and person 2 separately.

Wonderful device! I am unable to effectively wrap a traditional blood pressure cuff around my arm. I can never get the darn thing put on correctly. This blood pressure cuff is very easy for me to put on my left arm using only my right hand. I have found its connection to the app on my iPhone 15 Pro to be seamless and flawless. And it is very nice having my blood pressure readings listed on my phone to share with my doctor. The ease-of-use encourages me to take my blood pressure more often. Highly recommend.

Was getting super high readings from the traditional monitor we had at home. Bought this one for the number of high reviews & it's fantastic. I even took it to my doctor's office & had them monitor with their equipment then used this five minutes later in the office & it was extremely close/accurate. The doctor asked the brand/model to recommend to other patients. So glad I bought this one. Such peace of mind knowing the readings at home are accurate. In addition, it's incredibly easy to use, more comfortable, & fits my larger arms.
