This digital antenna was easy to install and works well for my location. I use it indoors in my living room and I am able to pick up 22 digital channels, which is about the maximum TV signal coverage for the rural where I live. I like the fact that the antenna has a magnetic base that makes it easy to position on metal objects. I have placed the antenna in different areas of my living room, always remembering to use the TV's menu to scan for channels. The antenna has a long-range and short-range button, but I always need to use long-range because of my location. The amplifier is plugged into the USB port on my TV. I am happy with the antenna and will gladly buy more for my televisions in other rooms.

I expected better for a powered antenna. I'm at most 5 miles from the two tv stations. It picked up 1 of 2 stations and poor (I said average before) quality. The house is in a city of a small country. The window is about 6 feet from the television. Let us see if the performance is any better with the antenna on the window sill.Updated: I didn't bother to try getting the powered antenna near the window. I'm not deep inside an apartment complex or basement with small windows. I'm in a house with zinc roof and large windows in a flat city yet the powered antenna does not work. Instead, I got an extension coax cable and extended an unpowered rabbit ears antenna which gives average signal on one station and picks up the other at poor quality.Update: I used a very long coax with an adapter at the end to split the wires in two. One leg was connected to a dead telephone wire from the road, and you would not believe. The quality for the 2 stations is far better than this device I paid money for. You can even use your roof and ground for an antenna.

Works great, plug in attena, plug in USB port screw attena on to base scan channels less time hooking up then for TV to scan. Will buy another for other tv, can't beat the price.
