100DR Deadbolt Cabinet Door Lock

I purchased the Olympus Lock to replace a broken lock of almost the exact dimensions. The lock it replaced had been used to secure the hatch on my sailboat and had been custom fit into the companion way door. The Olympus Lock slightly larger than the original lock, so I had to enlarge the opening very slightly in order to mount the new lock. I used a dremel for about 10 minutes to remove the necessary material to fit the lock. Once that was done, it's screws went into the original holes and held securly.The lock only comes with two keys and I had to have two more duplicates made so the marina would have a copy should they need to board the boat. My local hardware store did not have the necessary blank for the lock's key, so I had to take my keys to a locksmith to have the copies made. The first set of copies did not work, so I removed the lock from that boat and brought both the lock and the original keys to the locksmith. After a little more grinding, he was able to make keys that worked.The lock is now back aboard and the keys distributed to the people who need them. It took a bit, but I am happy with the result.

The keys were included and the lock was a perfect match for my cabinet. Originally they sent one with a longer lock bar, but the vendor was prompt in correcting the error through expedited shipping.

Needed to add locks to a couple of closets and these were perfect. I had been looking for this type of lock for some time and could not find it locally. I bought this hoping it would fit and it did perfectly. Very well made.

Cheap,you get what you pay for.

It came on time, the fit was perfect as it was exactly like the one I had to replace. (Old lock was drilled out)

I purchased several of these and put different cylinders in them to make the Sargent. You can switch between sideways and up/down motion easily by removing the insert and putting it back 90° out as I recall. Very secure (as much as you cabinetry) if you fully recess the face. I purchased the 1-3/8" deep version for 6-Pin cylinders, they have several different depths, and also a weather resistant version.If you do a good job on the cylinder and the receiver slot it will operate smoothly. If you have a tight fit you will feel it when you rotate the key.

After installing lock I have noticed that the key after locking in very hard to remove. Have to jiggle and pull straight out. Not very happy.
