NewlineNY Stainless Steel Hand Masher & Bowl, Mortar and Pestle Set

I use this mortar and pestle for grinding and combining spices, and it works great. The pestle grips well and has a nice heft to it, and the mortar is smooth and easy to clean. I've just started using more spices, and this set is a nice addition to my kitchen.

Easy to use and clean, without the heavy weight of traditional stone or marble and great little no slip bottom. Arrived on time and just as described. Very happy

This is the first set I have ever used, but I really like it. I chose the stainless steel because several of the reviews of marble indicated that they broke or cracked after a few uses. This one is sturdy in my hand, super easy to clean, and the heavy pestle crushes herbs, spices, and salt and pepper easily. Nice clean modern look of you choose to store in the open. Buying two more sets for Christmas gifts.

I put it in the dishwasher and it came out fine. It's nice looking. The size is big enough for foods as well as crushing pills and supplements. Since it can be thoroughly washed, no worries about any substances left in it to contaminate the next thing. it worked well for crushing some Chinese tea pills. It is not completely smooth inside so it does seem to grab things as it should while not hiding significant amounts of a powder in its concentric rings.

I don't leave reviews often, but this item warrants it. If your looking for a mortar/pestle set, I would highly recommend this one. It's heavy and the bat is well balanced (no clue which one it is actually ....dooh) it will be functional and look good sitting on my bar.

I have had swallowing problems since a spring throat infection. This mortar is solid and well made. It easily smashes my pills into a fine powder. The Pestle has a rubber bottom to protect your tables. The pestle is also solid and easy to clean.

It's better than the mortars I've bought and tried before. I'm just afraid that the base might fall off one day in the future.

Had a marble masher bowl and wife hit it too hard and broke it. Got this stainless bowl to replace it.

Used as intended and delivery so fast the Chef, who wasnt expecting the delivery and was going full compromise, didnt need to compromise after all. Very happy. Great meal btw.

It arrived with a small crack I was willing to live with, but is getting longer over time even without use.
