I've worn Spanx pretty much my entire adult existence. For my curvy, generous hips/thighs body, this did so much better. Firstly, while the hooks do take a couple minutes to put on, it is a worthwhile trade-off. There is no way a piece of fabric which is shaped one way with varying stretch align to the huge variation in women's bodies between androgynous and well... my shape. This does a better job. The waist and butt looked excellent. Being large all my life, this was a revelation the difference a shapely butt makes to skirts. At least for me, the thighs stayed in place.Now the cons, as some reviews say, the crotch area is not perfect. The flap is large, but it needs to be. I was slightly self-conscious and wouldn't wear this with short skirts. But without, there is no way you wouldn't have dribble. The bigger problem is for short women like me (5'1"), the body was way longer than needed and I had to pull down the legs more, but it was fine and I forgot about it for the most part. This also makes your pooch area smoother!

Update:I bought the black and the nude in the same size and the nude fits smaller on the thighs amd rolls up constantly. I have already worn the nude so it's too late to return it, but just fyi. Love how the black fits.By the size chart I should be a medium, so I ordered medium and small. On the medium, I could go to the last clasp. I tried on the small and at first, could not get it on. I took it off, did the first 3 clasps at the bottom and then shimmered my way in. It fits perfect and I can still tighten it.I'm using this post tummy tuck. For reference Ia 5'3, 147 lbs. And thicker in the hips and thighs. The small fit perfect and provides good compression around my stomach where it is needed.

Here goes everything you need to know! I recently had a tummy tuck with back lipo. I’m in post up week 4. Please keep in mind that I’m curvy with thick thighs which made buying a comfortable faja so difficult. The size chart was on point. My waist right now 33.5 hips 44. This faja is soft, stretchy and gives me the tightness I need with plenty to of room to continue make it tighter. The 4 rows makes it great to continue using this faja as my swelling goes down. I am currently using it on the second row with an ab board. I spent 100s of dollars on 2 different fajas that for the price were supposed to “perfect”. The straps on this faja are thin and comfortable, easy restroom use without getting some on the faja, does not cut my circulation around my thighs, does not rolls around my thighs. For the price, this faja is PERFECT! I know you are feeling skeptical like I did but I’m telling you, give this faja a try. Beyond my expectations! Good luck!

I like this a lot, really cinched me up but and maybe I had it too tight but it gave me a panic attack half way through my work day. Started to feel like I couldn’t breathe and like my blood wasn’t moving around my body… weirdest thing. I will for sure be wearing this looser but I won’t stop wearing it

I wanted to love this so much because I have the faja without the built in shorts from this same company, but the sizes seem way off between the two garments.After my lipo I fit very very snuggly into my first faja (size medium). After a few weeks my swelling had gone down and i was able to fit several layers of lipo foam pads into the faja and decided I needed to size down to get a snug fit once again. I ordered a small in this faja and couldn't even get one clasp together. There was absolutely no way I was fitting into it. I initiated a return and then re-ordered this same one but in a size medium, the same as my original faja size. Once again, even though it gives the same measurements for both styles of fajas meaning that this one should have fit like the original one I had, I could only get one clasp together. So back it goes.Super bummed because I really loved the fit of the first faja style before I lost swelling and it fit snuggly, but it looks like I'll be getting my next one in this style elsewhere.

I haven't bought shapewear since I went from a size M to a size XL so I just crossed my fingers after watching a few youtuber reviews on this brand. I am pleasantly surprised. Going by the size chart and that I've been wearing XL bottoms - ordered XL. It fits perfectly and I didn't have to writhe around to get it on - even the thighs have enough room. I have a medium to slightly longish torso but the adjustable straps helped to get a good fit. I like that I can 'suck it in' more or less by choosing what row of hook & eye to use. I would say it is not a heavy level of sucking in, more like medium but it also feels quite comfortable and so I'd be more likely to wear this to a long formal event. Does a good job of smoothing everything out under a fairly body-con dress with a little booty lift as well. Feels pretty good quality overall.

When I recieved the item I didn't think it would fit because it looked so small but it is perfect (true to size I am a 10/12 & ordered a medium). I have ordered a second one so I have 2! For this price you cannot go wrong and compared to others pricing irs a win win!

**Update** July 19th, 2023. I’ve lost an additional 5lbs since I made the original post, and I’ve also been wearing the faja more often. I feel so confident in it especially when I’m wearing a dress!! It gives me such nice curves. The pee hole is great as it doesn’t squeeze your lady bits like some other garments do. When I first bought it in February, I was only able to do up the first row of hooks, now I’m on the last row :) I will be ordering a new one a size down!Honest review** I lost 65 lbs and was left with a rectangle body shape. No hips, booty, or breasts and skinny legs. However I still do have a belly. I’m 5’9 and weigh 170lbs. I ordered a size medium. I thought there was no way it was going to fit BUT a trick is if you have the bottom 3 hooks done up, and then step into it and put it on it’s so much easier to do up!*From the front it definitely gave me curves/made it look like I actually have hips which I absolutely love!! It smoothes everything out as well.*From the side it rounded my belly which made me look a couple months pregnant. Also I don’t have much of a booty anymore so there was no lifting in that department.*The legs fit well and weren’t restricting on me.Overall I like it. If you do wear something tight/form fitting over it, you will see the hooks though.
