exactly as described, perfect for what I wantedupdate: they have white ink branding label on the handles. it is coming off and is sticky. I'd ding them half a star for this if I could.on the other hand, they work very well for picking up 0805 smd. had no problem grabbing or holding onto to the smds - have not tried anything smaller but am sure they would work well. some other tweezers I have tried were slippery and it was difficult to hold onto the part, not a problem with these, they grip well without feeling abrasive.these are now my number one go-to's for any job requiring tweezers.

Got these to weed craft vinyl used with my Silhouette Cameo. While they do the job, the teany tiny tips on these bend very easily so have to use a flat pair of pliers to unbend them to make them usable again. The tips on these are the size of a hair.. a little thicker would be better for what I am using them for... get them again-possibly

This ESD Anti-Static tweezers set is just what I needed for some projects my 10 year old son and I are working on. He's already decided he's going to be an engineer. I just wanted to be a race car driver when I was 10. Anyway, with 8 pieces there's a tweezers for everything small electronics related need that we have run into. The roll up case with sewn in elastic closures really helps to keep them organized. I am quite satisfied with the quality and the price I paid for them. Quick 2 day Prime shipping was great too.

This is a great set for the price. Extremely sharp and fine points - best tool ever for getting slivers out of your hand. You could set a Ladybug’s leg with these tools. Only drawback is the case could have a better design to keep the forceps from sliding out, but overall still five stars for the money. I bought a second set just for the wood shop.

The tips are very soft and easily bent grasping copper wire with any perfectly reasonable force. Two of them are pretty much ruined after just two days use.The design looks nice for getting in to small spaces, but the needle-like tips can't be used for pinching or bending thin gauge wire or leads of through-hole parts. Even if they were hard enough, they are too floppy and bendy for holding things. They might be okay for SMT work, but definitely only for very fine and delicate uses. I fear these would bend even just trying to hold a SMT component still.

When you're dealing with precision work, which these are intended for, the tools need to be precise as well. The biggest problem is the random chance for slight manufacturing faults which cause the tips not to align correctly. Some are skewed to the sides, some have a "duck bill" type of tip which pushes the actual point of contact further back from where its supposed to be. 3-4 of mine are like this, the rest are A-OK. Extremely sharp and they hold the work well without needing any grippy texture. Haven't been able to verify the ESD protection. They all have protective caps, which is a relief since even when rolled up, they have a tendency to slide out if you're not careful.

I was pleasantly surprised, I look for tweezers that are not too stiff so I can place small components, theyalso have to keep the jaws parallel when closed and be able to exert more force when needed. Thesework as well as some more expensive ones I have.

Tweezers are good. The extras just aren't as nice as the other set I ordered. The loops are elastic which will stretch out over time-that's the way you close your roll. The other one I purchased has a flap to keep tweezers from sliding out and uses Velcro closure and has a strap to hang them up if you chose to do so.
