I bought it for my 3 years old who loves to play musical instruments. He plays it everyday :) and i think it’s durable and sound quality is very good.

These bongos look beautiful and seem very well made but sound like tapping on a table or book would sound. I took my container of oatmeal and "drummed" on it, while my friend drummed on the bongos and they both sounded the same to us. I got these at a great price and they are for children but I still don't recommend.

Kid loved them

These bongos are small and perfect for my coffee table. I can actually get a good beat with them. So they are actually functional and inexpensive. They look good too. Fun conversation piece and have a cool bongo tone sound too. I like them! But they are small so if you’re seriously trying bongos to play as a hobby or professional then you will need a bigger set! But you can have fun with these. Well worth it and adorable little bongos! P.S. Buyer beware of the advertised red bongos because they are more brown than red! Unless brownish is ok! This was my experience! Good luck!!!

Drums arrived moldy smelling and one was turning kinda brown on top. They are meant for my 1 year old but when I played them it made my hands smell so probably have to trash them.

Allow time to air out. The case and/or drum have an unpleasant odor. The tuning key is missing.This was intended to be a gift.Bongo appears to be of decent quality but seller should check to see if all parts of kit are included prior to shipping.
