Only hair that was cut and may have stayed on the dog may have gotten on me, but my floor had nothing on it. And i gave two dogs haircuts. So much so that I had to empty out the vacuum container of all the hair in between dogs because it filled up with all the hair that normally would be all over your floor. It's also really quiet. The Clippers make no noise at all, only the vacuum makes noise, but you can get your dog used to it by first using the deshedding attachment on your dog before using the hair Clippers.
