I'm growing my collection of books so i can better grow my skills as a gardener. I want to learn to be more self reliant growing and producing household products. Herbs are very important and can be used in so many different ways. I really like this addition to my bookshelf and it's keeping me busy while I wait to start my garden.

Marc does a great job telling readers how to start a herb garden. His simple and well thought out instructions can be followed by the most inexperienced gardener easily. The best part of the book is his unique pairing of herbs with recipes, an approach I have not seen taken before in other guides. His use of Latin and descriptions of herbs is thorough and well executed.

I think this book is perfect for beginners like me, it really helped me on starting my own herb garden.

As you can see from the pictures this is a very versatile book it teaches you how to choose what type of Garden you’re going to do with her in the ground or above ground lots of recipes

I am a beginner when it comes to growing my own herbs and using them. I actually bought this book on KU because it was free and after reading the first 10-12 pages, I decided to buy an actual copy! I'm pretty excited to see what all I can do with my little garden!

Bought this for my 15 year old daughter who loves growing herbs. Has some good info and tips that she has utilized with good results.

The title does not meet the content. A large part of the book consists of cooking recipies, which are useless for me. The title suggests the book is about GARDENING herbs, not about cooking
