A Treasure Trove of Inspiration for Young Minds!
This beautifully curated box set is a gem! Each of the 8 books introduces children to some of the most inspiring personalities from around the world, making history and achievement come alive in a way that’s both educational and engaging. The illustrations are vibrant, the language is age-appropriate, and the stories are thoughtfully written to spark curiosity and admiration. It’s a perfect gift for kids who love to read or are just beginning their journey into biographies. My child was captivated from the first page and couldn’t wait to learn about the next great figure. Highly recommended for every young reader’s bookshelf!

Kind of a freaking joke
You have a book with 25 "Worlds Greatest Leaders" and you don't include Otto Von Bismark, Caesar, Augustus, Alexander, Catherine the Great, Potemkin, Richelieu, Napoleon, Queen Elizabeth, or so many more. Even if you understandably I guess want to avoid figures like Stalin, Mao, Rommel, or Genghis because of historical implications it feels like an absolute joke to slap a pretty good, although definitely not spectacular president like Obama on the list.I purchased it as a list to work through by using the names to read further biographies and to get some historical perspective into fields that I don't really have any idea of where to begin and I think its still good for that. However, judging from the "Greatest Leaders" list I think you should take everything with a veritable truckload of freaking salt. These lists are clearly slanted by some sort of silly agenda or perspective.Edit: Just read the "Writers" book and it has writers like J.K. Rowling included but doesn't have Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, or Lovecraft.

Won't buy
It is "world's greatest" from a white cis point of view. ONLY.

Too short to be anything educational.
Poor quality in form (printing) and substance. Too short to be anything meaningful or educational for readers.

Basically a gateway to dictators
For leaders, this book considers oppressive dictators like Che Guevara and Castro as 'influential". It avoids mentioning less-known historical figures of positive influence, but slips in more well known figures to mask its bias.
