So many dice for so little money, and a great dice bag included!
The series 2 dice in this set took a huge leap from the relatively simple assortment of solids, gem dice and a few swirl patterns of the series 1 set and include more than *10* sets of swirl dice, plus 6 clear gem dice and 4 "sparkle" sets with glitter. With risk came some huge wins, the gem dice are all great, as are the sparkles, and a majority of the swirls are beautiful... and the later you purchased the set (2018 and beyond) you are getting the Series 2 set made on the latest generation molds which are vastly superior to the gen 1/2 versions of the same set.My favorite set from the group is probably the Sylvan Spirit set, which is not inked white as shown, but gold - a MUCH better look in my opinion. This is hugely subjective because it reminded me of the set of dice I borrowed almost 30 years ago when I first played D&D with my neighbor. All of the other gem dice in the set are nice, while the Dwarven Brandy is probably the most unique technically as it blends attributes of gem dice (semi-translucent in this case) with some "swirl" dice variations in color, with some sparkle/glitter thrown in. It's a really interesting amber gemstone effect and rightly one of the most popular in the series. The swirl dice are nice, and the most "experimental" dice in the lot, but seem to overlap a lot in colors (three different greens, two almost identical reddish-pinks, I feel like the Philosopher Stone and Dragon Scales sets are way too similar in basic texture and color and are hard to tell apart as they are also inked the same color. This issue was avoided in less so, but still a bit similar, Jade Oil and Swamp Ooze sets by using different ink color...If you look at the whole WizDice lineup, with Series 2 and Series 1 combined you end up with *five* different variations of green swirl dice, but only one variation of blue, black, white, brown, purple, yellow and orange. While the reds show up twice, the nearly identical Philosophers Stone and Dragon Scales (the better of the two) are redundant and neither is a particularly punchy or interesting representation of the color, which is unfortunate. All of that said, and hair splitting aside, it's a GREAT set for the money - I've actually purchased the full 20 set / Bag of Devouring set for myself after well as a separate loose set of 15 that I split up and gave to my 3 kids last year for stocking stuffers.Note that while there are 3 "series" of Wiz Dice products (Bag of Holding / Series 1, Bag of Devouring, Series 2, Bag of Tricks, Series 3) there have also been different three manufacturing generations applied to two of the 3 sets. Gen 1 molds (used in Series 1 and early Series 2 runs) had a lot of negatives related to how the numbers were represented, and were greatly improved in the Generation 2 molds used to make both Series 1 and 2 dice sets. There was a third "generation" of these dice that came about when the D6 mold broke, which led to an improvement in the way the #3 was printed on the D6. I noted that ALL of the sets I've gotten from Amazon recently have the attributes of Generation 3 production, and I'm fairly convinced that some of the (relatively few) early negative reviews of the Wiz Dice sets come from legitimately inferior earlier generation production runs. Wiz Dice has since worked out the kinks in their molding/inking process and dealt with some manufacturer drama early on. ALL of the series of dice that Amazon carries in the Wiz Dice line should now be produced on the generation 3 molds, and I'd put them up against any of the other guys selling dice for $7-12 per set for what you are buying from Wiz Dice for $1.50 a pop. Amazing value, and a very comprehensive selection with something for everyone at the table if you choose to buy one, or all three, "Bag of" sets from these guys.

Great colors and set's at a fantastic price
I'm a huge fan of buying dice in bulk packs especially those with specialty colors, when I saw this pack come out I simply had to grab a set and see for myself. At first my group thought these dice would be no different from the first set, but upon seeing the variety of colors and styles everyone has switched to one of the Wiz Dice sets. They roll like any other set and the paint problems my set came with were minor and easily fixed with paint markers, at the price I paid the tiny chips I had in one D6 and the 1 bubble in a transparent D20 really didn't matter to me. These dice were slightly lighter than my previous set but not anything that my group noticed until they compared them.On that note this set is color wise very green and red/pink heavy. My group was plenty happy with that because I had blue's in my old set but if you like blues, this is not a set for you. The two "blue" sets the glittery transparent blue and the teal set. Now if you like colors that'll stand out among a group that has the usual red, blues, whatever, this set will satisfy that need. Even the colors I thought would be plain or ugly actually look really nice, the yellows that I thought would be brown were actually more caramel almost amber. Even that bright yellow/green turned out to be one of my favorites for how noticeable the color was.Perhaps most surprising to me was how much I love the bag, I had seen all the mixed reviews people had given their bag of holding, since i already had a bag I wasn't concerned with it. Once it arrived however wow, the stitching on it is very strong the texture feels heavy and the embroidery design looks fantastic. The fact that it actually sits up with dice in it makes it visually appealing even when empty. Also it fits all of my 280 dice, with a little bit of room for more still. So if you have a bunch of dice and want more this bag will keep you going for awhile. All in all I'll definitely buy Wiz dice again especially if their next bag has odd colors like this. Also rolled a 20 on my first roll with the bright yellow green set, so there's also that.
