excellent tools for pain relief
Once i started really using this message block I became hooked. Now I use them (I bought the medium and large sizes) all the time to deal with pain in my neck and back. A friend with similar issues came over and tried them while watching a movie, & ordered hers right away! The best part is they don't roll - so you can work the "spot" on it without constantly repositioning. Sometimes the relief lets me immediately sleep. Miraculous!

Great for trigger points
This is a useful self-massage tool, especially for getting to trigger points and muscle knots along the shoulder blades. It has just the right hardness - not too hard and not too soft. However, compared to the many self-massage spheres/balls I own, I find this a bit harder to use because you cannot easily move around on it if you want to get to an area slightly up/down/left/right. With a ball, you simply move your body slightly in the desired direction and the ball rolls beneath you. With this tool, it gets knocked over when shifting your position so you basically have to sit up, move the block, then try to lay back down on it in the new position. Still, a nice tool and I will use it when I want to apply deep, precise pressure on small, painful muscle knots and trigger points.

Do yourself a favor, help yourself be pain free!!! buy this product!!
Great product, highly recommend. I have chronic pain from bulged discs. I also have shoulder pain and tightness. This works great for ppl that dont have a massage therapist(I'm a massage therapist, but its difficult to massage yourself!) or someone around to constantly help you. Work out ur own muscle tightness. Im going to be using this everyday. Perfect size, firm!

Not useful
I'm not sure why I bought this. I find little to no use in a "massage block" that remains stationary. You're supposed to move over muscles to massage, not sit on top of them.

More like "smedium"
This was supposed to be a medium block, but it's actually very small in size. So if you want a massage block that's actually going to help target a specific hard to reach spot, I'd get a large.

Good tool that's (IMHO) worth the premium over standard balls.
Bought to do TPs in shoulders, back and hips. Good firmness for digging in to deeper hip areas and doesn't move around like a lacross ball tends to do. Thinking about another one for work.

It's good and does the job, just a little too big for me. I should've purchased the smaller size
