It fits, I sits.
Nice mounting hardware. Fit Kohler toilet perfectly. Almost didn't fit on a Galcier Bay model. Had to break off the torque snapping nuts before install and use the long nuts to thread the rods into the holes. With the hinges flush on top, there's just barely room for the rod and nut on the underside. Cover stays up, but the seat needs held up on the Kohler with a curved front tank lid. On the square front tank of the Glacier Bay both stay up until put down. I like a nice vinyl padded seat, but the mounting hardware and hinges are usually a weak point due to the necessary arm length caused by the extra seat and cover height. These hinges are great, making it the best Vinyl seat I've bought.

Cushy seat for the elderly
Why did you pick this product vs others?:What can I say, I'm older and it's a cushion toilet seat! Very well made, would recommend.

The Best Cushioned Seat I've Found
I like this brand and style of cushioned toilet seat. If you need/want a cushioned seat, this is a good choice. It lasts for a good while. It is easy to install.

Excellent
The chrome makes the difference. We went though two of the plastic ones at my mom’s house and they broke quickly. This lasted. It’s only a few more $, and you won’t be replacing it

Doesn't loosen
This seat does not loosen and float around. It's comfortable, too.Seems to be made with quality compared to other padded seats.

The Unusual Hinges Do Not Use Standard Attachment Bolts
This is the first toilet seat we’ve ever had that uses unusual hinges. We expected an easy switcheroo of toilet seats: unscrew the existing wingnuts, pull the bolts out of the hinges, switch seats, drop the existing bolts down through the new seat’s hinges, and re-screw the wingnuts. We done it many times in the past. Until we encountered this seat.Where are the holes in the hinges? What are these strange skinny bolts? What’s up with this plastic thing that the destructions say is supposed to break to know that it’s tight enough? This was clearly not going to install like every other seat we’ve ever used. Those skinny bolts are supposed to screw into the bottom of the hinge, thereby creating something to drop down through the porcelain. The bolts are then held on by the cheap plastic nuts that are apparently idiot-proof. Who ever heard of something breaking to tell you that it’s tight enough? People can’t tell by the tension in their wrench that it’s tight? Whatever.None of this was going to work for our installation because we have a setup that requires longer bolts. So we were just going to take the hinges off the old seat and replace them on the new seat so that we had proper drop-the-bolt-through-the-hole hinges. Unfortunately for us, they broke in the switching process, so we had to order new replacement hinges. In the meantime, we had to install the new seat as directed, so the toilet would be usable. All the hardware looked so cheap that even if we wanted to permanently use the parts the seat came with, we doubted it would last very long.Other than our installation issues, the seat itself is functional but feels cheap. We only got it to fulfill a need, but we don’t feel that it will be a long-term seat and that we will have to replace it periodically. That’s why we gave it a neutral rating.

Make sure this is what you want.
Good padded seat, comfortable, BUT WILL NOT FIT A HIGH RISE SEAT EXTENSION! CANNOT USE LONG BOLTS TO ATTACH THIS SEAT TO EXTENSION.
